You cannot blame Song Hwa when she first rejected Ikjun. Ikjun is definitely a playboy and she's on the introverted side and perfectionist side who doesn't know how to handle rejections. She's thinking it is better to stay as friends that be a lover who has no concrete plan of the future whether they are gonna break-up just like Ikjun's past relationships.
I disagree with you that Song Hwa thought about Ikjun as a playboy. Every member of the group took relationship seriously but she chose to maintain the friendship, but when Ikjun got hurt, she realized what would be the right choice.

No, it because ik jun knew that seok hyeong has feeling for songhwa thats why he gave up song hwa. Remember the scene that he bought a ring. And the scene when seok hyeong and ikjun had drinks because seok hyeong was rejected by song hwa.. iknjun and song hwa they were supposed to meet up that night but ik jun just made an excuse and at the end of that scene the ring that he bought he throw it away to the trash.
