They actually made her move a 2 hit kill if landed thats amazing, its so fantastic how they're implementing so much from the source material from Tosen's Bankai now to Soi Fon's shikai. Can;t wait to see Shinji's shikai in action if he;s in the game.
I was expecting Komamura this week and looking foward to see how they implement his Bankai into this game but maybe next time.
I think they're leaving characters with the big bankais for later like Renji mayuri or Komamura

Nice, I like that they incorporated her Shunko as her Awakening and her Bankai looks to be perhaps an ultimate.
Makes alot of sense, She can't move very well with her Bankai so it wouldn't be very useful as a transformation

I could see it being her finishing blow. From what I’ve seen characters have animations for finishing blows.
@shirakani nope, only those who have shown a reawakening on their trailers have one. You can see their moves on the Japanese page and only Ichigo bankai, Ulquiorra and Uryu have reawakenings

Who cares? Games like this are always more fun when there’s little to no balance.
Since they are being lore accurate, maybe it won't work on characters with known higher spirit energy or getting it off will be really difficult
She was able to do the same in a LOT of Bleach games. Usually they balance it with either Heavy Startup (making comboing into it very difficult), making it an ultimate move (making it hard to get it without winning/losing the normal way), or by giving it a VERY strict time limit. Also MASSIVE end lag if you end up missing the move, making it very punishable.
Also its likely the move is not unblockable.
@@_43Ternity100The thing is the higher spiritual pressure thing with Aizen was because not only did she lost an arm but fired Jakuho Raikoben twice in one day when she's only used to firing once every 3 days. She was exhausted by that point so it may have worked on Aizen otherwise.

It is. I'd also recommend listening to Yoruichi's (in the exhibition match of Ichigo vs Yoruichi when she uses Shunko ) they're both bangers. Wish we got the full OST for all the characters.

Edit: after rechecking she removed the coat herself and Yoruichi even specifies that the shoulder and back parts of clothing are removed only when Shunko is perfected which means they got it right. Until Soi Fon perfects Shunko the fabric on her clothing doesn't blow off.

Edit: weird how her costume doesn't blow apart when using Shunko even if incomplete in the manga it still removed it and yet they did that for Yoruichi.
Re-Edit: False alarm after rechecking Soi Fon removes the coat herself and didn't know the reason why the shoulders and back are exposed. Yoruichi even specifies that it's once the move is perfected it blows off meaning they indeed got it right.

How hard can it be though? Shes insanely fast and her second skill literally holds you in place? All she has to do is land her Kido twice and you are dead.
Literally esp since it requires a charge time, ppl will be ready to counter that which is good that youll actually have to be skillful or playing against someone terrible and doesnt know her 2 hit ko in order to land it

Wasn't sure if they were going to add Soi Fon, but I think the final roster could be pretty massive after all. Definitely want to see some more villains tho, but I think they might save some of the best for last (Aizen for example).
They're doing captains right now, then they'll likely move to Either Lieutenants, Vizards, or Espada
According to the devs they said that on release only characters from the soul society arc until the arancar arc will be in the game. Most def Aizen, Grimmjaw and others are in. We dont know if they are gonna add fullbring arc characters as post dlc content.

Blocking with a shield gauge, dodges, armor moves for some characters, counters for others and a combo break mechanic (costs meter)

So cool. You should be able to do multiple perfect dodges/perfect guards in a row. This would make this a better game than sparkling zero. That way the attacks can be more op because we have more defensive capabilities. C'mon bandai let's please get this in the game
