How RK-Bro Should Break Up In WWE

- Randy Orton & Matt Riddle have been arguably the most popular team in WWE for the last 12 months! But we all know one day they will break up. So I'm going to show you how I think it will happen using WWE 2K22.

I think continuing off this story, Randy ends up winning the WWE Championship at Royal Rumble, and then outta nowhere, Riddle wins the Royal Rumble. Riddle comes out and says to the fans that he ain't waiting, he wants Orton, and says to him in front of a camera that after Orton kicked his head off at Summerslam, he's going to cut the viper's head off by taking the WWE title from him. Obviously Pearce will come out to tell Riddle, congrats on winning the Royal Rumble, but he will not allow Orton anywhere near Riddle to protect the title match for WrestleMania, as the new WWE champion Orton sustained an injury from his match at RR and is not medically cleared to compete until the title match with Riddle at WrestleMania, therefore Randy has been advised to stay home and recover.
Obviously Riddle builds momentum, trying to lure Orton back by using the RKO on his opponents in matches on RAW. Crown Jewel or whatever PPV happens before Mania. Riddle wins his match with whatever star he faces, but Orton comes out and attacks Riddle from behind. Orton tries to punt kick him but security stop him in the nick of time. Pearce instructs both Riddle and Orton not to have any physical contact with each other until the match at WrestleMania. Riddle attacks Orton, he loses his title match at Mania. If Orton attacks Riddle, he will be stripped of the WWE championship. Riddle and Orton continue to 1up each other by being at the commentary booths of both their respected matches on RAW, ended up having a contract signing under security guard. As the two square off and as they are about to strike each other regardless of the title match, a massive brawl erupts the last RAW before Mania with all the stars and storylines going on and invading the entire ring and arena. Orton and Riddle start attacking opposite stars, but they make eye-contact one last time as Orton is up on the ramp, and Riddle is still in the ring.
Mania happens, title match kicks off. Orton gets dirty and gets advantage, Orton tries to end the match quickly by RKO on Riddle but Riddle kicks out in the nick of time. A second RKO on Riddle but Riddle kicks out again. Riddle tries to gets up but Orton attempts to punt Riddle again like he did at Summerslam, only this time Riddle quickly got back up and RKO'd Orton from outta nowhere. Orton is on the floor getting up, and Riddle is at one of the ring posts. He sees Orton in the state Riddle was in, and decides to punt kick Orton, and then Riddle goes to finish the match with the Bro Derek - 1.....2.....3, Riddle gets revenge and becomes the new WWE Champion

I think it would be so much better for them to have a peaceful end after losing the titles. Orton could let riddle know he has bigger things ahead of him outside of rk-bro and he also wants to go for cena/flair's record. He could pump fake an rko but instead would go for a hug, let orton have that one partner he never betrayed.

Good stuff dude. I think Riddle turning on Orton would be a better dynamic, Orton turning is too predictable and with his 20 year anniversary in the business, I think he’d play the babyface grizzled veteran well.

Honestly, I don't want them to split up, I want them to become an iconic duo just like D-X, and save this rivalry for a couple of years after riddle will be a well-established star. Though, a better way to go would disband RK-BRO by draft.

I've always had the thought of Riddle being the one to turn, since as someone else pointed out, Randy doing it would be too predictable. And Riddle being the one to turn would more than likely have the potentially for a better storyline.

I personally think starting the breakup at backlash is a bit too soon, a story where they keep losing and losing until one of them snaps would be right up my alley

My theory was that (now that Orton is out on injury) that riddle had something to do with that injury, and when Orton comes back they address that and have the feud

It should be that Randy always beat Riddle in certain stipulations due to experience and ruthlessness (hell in cell, last man standing, etc). Riddle beats Randy in technical match-up due to him being younger, faster, and he can expose Randy past injuries. ( No special stipulation, submission only, etc).
Heel Riddle is the perfect way to break this team! It will be something fresh and new for Riddle and it would benefit his MMA brutal style, and we saw many times how Orton is a legendary heel, so why not inovate this time, great video again!

This was great i liked every step of this storyline but i think Riddle should go over ortan in the end. They could build him up to challenge the main champ on raw after beating randy. ( Thats hoping they finally give raw a championship and give roman one undisputed title)

I agree. I think Riddle makes sense to give him a fresh perspective. In my mind Riddle gets even more aggressive and goes even harder at Randy with the blowoff match being later in the year or if you could get there WrestleMania

Only thing I'd change is to get the title involved. Riddle wins it after punting randy and turning evil, and randy wins it in the end, get home closer to tying Cena.
In my head i thought of having Braun Strowman making his huge Return on Raw by attacking Matt Riddle that he is next in the Monsters food chain after losing to Randy Orton on SummerSlam that Strowman would make Matt Riddle suffer with a running power slam through every barricade and Braun Strowman would say "This is a message from Randy Orton that you will GET THESE HANDS" and you would say "Did Braun Strowman made an alliance with Randy Orton"
Strowman as Ortons heavy is an interesting dynamic. I don't mind it!
@@MurfsYT13 sure you can add this to the RK Bro break up story Part 2 but for Randy Orton and Braun Strowman they would call themselves the Viper Express that they are unstoppable that they would massacre every tag team in Raw and Smackdown an the only group who would stop them is the Bloodline that they would end the Viper Express destructive massacre that Matt Riddle was the one who told the Bloodline to end the Viper Express

Riddle turns on Orton, buzz cuts his hair and joins Alpha Academy.
Whenever its done, I think Randy Orton should be the one to turn heel, and keep Riddle as a babyface. When Riddle turns heel, that can be used as a storyline of its own down the line, you dont need to add that to Orton vs Riddle cause that in itself is big enough.
WWE has a lot to work with for the next 5-10 years. Its all about execution and getting the best out of their talent

Hey Murfs although I miss your universe mode I love this new content. I was thinking maybe you should do a what if series using this similar style. Like what if AJ styles & Shawn Michaels had a match at Wrestlemania or what if it was someone else who broke The Undertakers streak etc. I think there’s so much scenarios you can go about & I think you would enjoy it.

i get you were building tension for the twist, but i feel this characterisation for orton is SO outdated, you have him acting like early rk-bro days and not the earnest pure babyface he has been for months, of course leaning into the old orton is fun and i could see it happening, but the way he talks to riddle before the turn here? just feels a little off.
but fantastic work as ever! i'm loving the inclusion of other feuds crossing over into the main stories
Yeah I see what you're saying. I guess there is really no other way to mask the twist than the "Viper stalking" trait of Orton that will always be there. I was kind of going for Orton being reformed and slowly changing. Fighting those urges type of thing. Maybe missed the mark a little on that. I really appreciate the feedback!
