It's a tough place the outback, so many people underestimate how hard it will be. Great job KTM and Adam for bringing the story to us.

Epic video! Makes me humble and glad for owning a 690 RFR and 1290 SAR. Here in Norway that kind of KTM rally would be impossible to make, but puts things in perspective. Excellent commentary on safety issues and riding style!

Adam, watching your videos for the past few months, encouraged me too buy another dirt bike after not owning one for the past 15yrs. I'm now planning a trip to the Cape. Mr KTM, just a word of warning as a long term 690 rider. If it built before 2015, swap the rocker arms for those marked 2015 onwards to avoid them disintegrating and destroying your engine. Happened on a brand new 2014 to me. Second whatever you do carry a spare fuel pump and a spare injector.

I saw this video before, but after riding CABDR, I have more respect for this type of rally. And for riders to do this 6 days, via camping, more accolades. Triathletes train for their events, as I get older, in my early 50s, I find myself having to train for these longer rides.
