Would love to see a engine tear down video of these bikes after rides like these guys do. After all these bikes were never intended to be used like this over these sort of distances. I reckon KTM themselves would be interested to know how they hold up.
KTM 500 beast , makes a great minimalist ADV bike you can still have fun on , that new fox enduro jacket is really comfy , good air flow , love them wrist vents ,
Ooh can I come! I just completed a 9100 mile 8 week ride on my 690 through Africa, Europe, the U.K. and Canada back to home in Alaska. Deciding on my next adventure either to Australia, South America or across Russia for next year.

Love the Motonomad series so much. Shows you don't need a massive bike or tonnes of gear to go on an adventure. After watching them, I can't help but laugh when I see fully loaded bikes with huge metal panniers and more, going on tour.
Hey buddy to each their own. I ride my 990 Adv EVERYWHERE with panniers and without. When you only have money for one bike, you pick the one you think will do the job and ride it. Sure I cant jump it like my moto-x bike but it is a great test to ride a big bike in technical stuff and I can drift 80mph corners with my bags on.
That slow motion footage you do is out of this world. Love it.

After 3 GSs. I now ride a KTM. Would've been on my 4th KTM now. Misses all the 950s to 1290s. So right. They learnt their lesson. 😁
