- Sheet music is available for free per license below. I arranged this by ear from early release of Zoltraak single. I really like the music in this anime from Evan Call. There's a lot going on in the track, but I tried my best to combine the parts.

In my opinion, a brilliant fusion of Japanese and Celtic music.

So I discern that you disagree?
@@chrisschultz8598 no, I do not have an opinion yet. I'm just asking what part of this sounded Japanese to you
Know that I am not a musical scholar, but I detect Japanese influences in the riff starting at 24 seconds to 38 seconds, underlying harmonies at 56 seconds to 1:28, underlying melody from 1:25 to 2:26 and again at 2:06 to 2:26. The overlying melody and time signature seem Celtic to me, however. Of course, toss in 500 years of musical development, east-west musical pollination and 60 years of pop culture and you can argue this is completely modern, but I can't help but feel the essence of old Celtic Irish and Japanese. Full disclosure: when I first heard this I was watching the anime. The characters look Western European but they were speaking Japanese, so that may have influenced me. But I still feel those Celtic-Japanese vibes even when just listening to the piece. Since you offered, what's your analysis?
@@chrisschultz8598ain’t gonna lie, I don’t hear it either. But everyone has their own take on music
American composer Evan Call became popular in Japan. He is currently living in Nagano Prefecture.
thanks for the sheet music :)
Thanks for arranging this. I really like the part at 13 in this version.
Looking to play on my flute, though I don't have musescore pro to download.
hmm, musescore used to be free... Maybe I can find another place to host a pdf. Are you sure you can't download the pdf version (not the midi?) for free?
@@shopkins4841 the pdf is pro as well.
I get the copyright reason musescore shut down free downloads, but pricing pro at 8/week is insane.
I see a lot of people posting music sheets on gumroad. I would buy a musescore file if you posted there.
@@shopkins4841 To download anything, you have to do the free trial, which requires a CC/Paypal to complete.
i added a free gumroad link in the description. Sorry, youtube was hiding / is still hiding all the comments in this thread, so didn't see the replies.
More frieren! “time flows ever onward” please ❤
there's a pretty good one for that from OliverKMusic. I generally try to do arrangements / transcriptions of songs that haven't been done and match the original as closely as possible and adapt to piano. I don't think I would change much in it. Most of the songs I've done don't have a midi or source sheet music material, and I have to do them all by ear.
@@shopkins4841 that’s awesome, ill check them out thanks. Subscribed 👍
🥰😍🤩
Is there a midi file Im not seeing on gumroad?
