People have been quite hyped about this new Necrons detachment using The Silent King, hidding a Canoptek Reanimator nearby, and several interaction with him, like CHRONO‑IMPEDANCE FIELDS to reduce the damage he takes. UNYIELDING FORMS will also make him harder to wound, DIMENSIONAL TUNNEL let him walk thorugh walls, ENDLESS SERVITUDE allows you to reanimate him if in an objective (and if hidding a reanimator, thats 2d3), and so on... Triple DDA, and mass Lokhust/Heavy Destroyers seems pretty scary too, specially a DDA or Lokhust being able to fall back and shoot thanks to the enhancement.
So I am thinking Watchmaster with Tome. Fortis team with 2 Superkrak, Gravis Captain, 3 Indomitor KT, 3x 10 man Sternguard and 3 Librarians to babysit them. Very shooty. I am not feeling the Talonstrike. Even after watching this game I am not impressed for the points.
The talonstrike are expensive but sometimes you just need high AP. Overcharged, when they drop in, and the extra AP strat puts them at AP-5. The nice thing is, though, that DW now have a bunch of different viable options so if you don’t like the talonstrike, don’t take it. The fortis, Indomitor, and terminator squads are all really strong.

Don’t know if I want the sternguard in drop pods or walking on the table with librarians.
