They have replaced all the bearings, rebuild the Torsen , adjusted crown-pignion . The cost is 740 Euro (less taxes). I will ask what they exactly did in greater detail.
Hi Jason, here is the additional information you asked for: The torso lock is overhauled . The play in the lock is caused by wear on the guide discs (metal plates between the sun gears), these are made of a relatively soft brass/copper alloy and wear out. This creates space in the locking bell. This is solve with wear-resistant steel machined to size so that it is tight again and has a little pre-pressure, for a long-lasting tight diff and a better locking effect. A torsen with some pre-pressure, such as a quaife, reacts faster and slips less quickly on 1 wheel. These locking clocks are in stock for all possible ratios for exchange or sale and installation in, for example, open differentials. Replacement of a disc lock is also possible , which is dynamically the better system, more grip, less fast spinning of 1 wheel and also lock on braking for better stability.

Groet vanuit SW France Ruud.
There’s a whole world of knowledge out there, why doesn’t people try to learn from it, instead of showing negativity, they obviously have a sad and pathetic life
Steve, We have a saying in the US "fish or cut bait". You need to stop talking about Rusty; look up this saying - it's perfect for the situation. I actually got pissed about a year ago when you were so close to getting the engine running; I was really engaged in this. I asked you what was happening and it seemed you got pissed at me. I don't care anymore. About thumbs down. You should be judged on what you do in the video at hand, not on what projects you choose to do. I give thumbs down very rarely. I usually just stop watching. I watch your videos for the unique aspects of the way you do things. For example the way you got the bushing out on the suspension arm by using a threaded rod. You do a lot of things like this. It's called using your head. If you want a negative comment and I've mentioned this before, you need a booth to do your sand blasting in. I can't believe you're doing your blasting, particularly in an area where food is grown. I'm surprised there isn't a law against it in your country.
No need to be concerned about the thumbs down votes. There are negative naysayers everywhere and there always will be those that walk around with their noses stuck up in the air. Your videos are excellent and you don't need to change a thing. Thanks.

Holy eyebrows Batman! Oh hey very good videos but im pretty sure they're called "bushings" and not "bushes".

Groet vanuit SW France
Ruud.
Thanks for the comments, Ruud. Altijd leuk om dit te lezen....
There’s a whole world of knowledge out there, why doesn’t people try to learn from it, instead of showing negativity, they obviously have a sad and pathetic life
Thanks for the comments,
Steve,
We have a saying in the US "fish or cut bait".
Thanks for the comments, all comments taken and I am not or never pissed believe.
@@D3Sshooter That's good to know. Keep up the good work! That BMW is going to be a new car before long.
