I was curious, when you did your first video did you find out that a adjustment was needed because the brake pedal would become too sensitive and actually engage the breaks after driving for a period , thus making the adjustment of the plunger for your second video, both videos very helpful.

If i recall correctly, for my install I had to adjust it to get the brake lights where they wouldn't stay on all the time, only when you press the pedal.

@@carldavenport1583 I got a problem that isn't even any of all the things you said. I'm leaning to a bad airbag on the drivers side. Have you ever had that issue with your van? I already did some looking around behind the back panels for shorts with no luck.

@@lifepresent3183 I have not heard of any airbag issues. What symptoms do you have?

@@carldavenport1583 Just on day (today) it wouldn't go out of park. No horn, and I keep blowing the 20 amp fuse you showed us under the hood. Good thing I made it to my appointment by getting to the steering colum and manualy moving that plastic arm holding the shifter stick in park. I'm thinking I got a short in the clock spring...or somewhere! : ) But I tried everything in your two great videos.///

Question. Was your only sign that it was the break switch was it getting stuck in park? I’m attempting to rule out issues with my 02 before issuing out money to fix a problem that doesn’t need fixed.

Correct, it wouldn't shift out of Park. Make sure you watch Part 1 video also.

From what I remember, you loosen it almost all the way out. The brake light will stay on all the time. Then back it off until the brake light goes out when you take your foot off the brake.
