Oh, those are so lovely! I find that making cards like these is a great idea to use as you've mentioned and also as journal toppers and greeting cards toppers as well. They're are so versatile! ❤ love them!

Another way I have done ATC's is to make a large page (6,3/4 x 9,3/4)and then cut to ATC size (2 1/4x 31/4). Nice 2 c u back.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this and will HAVE to give it a go. I used to make ATC cards with my boys over 10 years ago. I am waiting for the fairies book to come, but received the Animals books this morning and Marta they are BEYOND stunning. Congratulations ❤ I WILL be getting them all over the next few weeks. I love the fairies but I’ve noticed that many seem sad. That hasn’t stopped me using them it was just something I noticed.

While you were using your knife to cut the small areas you mentioned you're looking for a different knife. Many years ago a friend from the Netherlands gave me a OLFA art knife. I believe it's the one shown on Amazon UK as the Original Art Knife , Stainless Steel. OLFA makes many different ones, but this one and the AK 1-5B appear to be similar. I keep reaching for this knife because it has a short blade that I find easier to control than the longer blades (also less exposed blade to risk cutting myself). Amazon also carries the replacement blades - they are labeled on Amazon as OLFA ARKB 25 blades for the AK 1. I still have the packaging from one set of blades I bought and it is labeled KB 9161 in the upper left corner on the front. The one displayed on Amazon says the same. I've looked through the comments and don't see where anyone else commented about a knife. Maybe a lot of crafters don't use them but it's the only one that I can recommend.

I love the first part of your video it really helped me to get started on small pieces not quite ATC size but some small pieces I wanted to create today. However, I do not have your supply of pretty fairies and flowers and I was hoping for some suggestions as to what to use in place of them if we don't have them something to keep the six pieces consistent.?
You can draw and cut out circles 😉 or hearts 💝 you can stick some tickets, washi etc anything really ! 🩷

Since you asked, I am actually looking for something my husband and I can do together. We don't cook well together, we don't like the same music, we don't watch TV together, he likes bike riding but he turns it into exercise instead of fun. So I need suggestions of other things we might try together
Have you tried card games, perhaps bridge or pinochle? It can be competitive, but you and he can play as a couple.
@kathleenmccrory9883 he more prefers strategic board games and we don't really have any friends in common to play those games with...
@ruthinman6921 I had a neighbor who, for years, would play backgammon every night with his wife. They moved a couple of years ago, but I bet they still play. I hope you find something you both can enjoy.

My husband and i used to go to ice hockey together all over country he was a referee and my son played.my 2 daughters used to come as well grandbabies in tow.we were close.but no matter what you do for your girls how close we were done thier weddings .y poor husband worked 3 jobs for 18 yrs to provide for them blth as single mums to begin with.but we had the joy for 15 yrs after they were mafried.then it changed no quarrel nothing.its simple they came into big money.didnt need us anymore.but i will never understand or accept the no talking??? Its been 20 yrs now.i have cried.tried begged.im not ashamed to beg.but we were good parents good grandparents but no more begging to know why.i feel for thier dad.hes not a person to show affection but hes been there for them always as have i..were 74 now we will never know.?? Our concience is clear.my door is always open.my heart is with my 2 giggling littles girls hiding a home.ade card behind thier backs for .mothers day.house was full of love.
All i know is we dont deserve this.problem is thiers.
