nothing...NOTHING beats that ABC College Football theme. Everytime I hear it I think of those great Miami-FSU match ups. I'm a Florida fan so most of our games were on CBS.

This was the first college football game I ever saw on TV. I was about 4 years old at the time. This game made me a Miami Hurricanes fan.

This Miami team has 3 Pro Football HOF, Sean Taylor would have been another one. Mcgahee as well had he not shredded his knee. Wilfork might get in so that would make 4. Talent wise this may be the greatest era of Miami Football (98-2003).

Andre Johnson dominated this game. The way 01 canes have got to be the fastest college team . these boys all had NFL speed .you can see it . the pro bowl running backs. Two pro bowl tes . pro bowl receiver ( one of the best when he played ) two pro bowl safeties . pro bowl line backer . pro bowl DL . pro bowl ol . I mean lol that is insane . and each player that was drafted from this team was one of the best at there position I'm the NFL . not sure there was ever a team before or since more stacked

Nebraska shouldn't have even been in that game. They lost their conference title game by a large margin. However, there isn't a single team who could stand toe to toe with this team
+Joshua Bro They didn't play in the conference title game. They were tied with Colorado for the North title, but the Buffaloes went because they had won head-to-head. Colorado trounced them 62-36 in the last regular season game (which is the game you're probably thinking of) and then later went on to win the Big 12 title game, beating Texas 39-37. But agreed... Nebraska shouldn't have been in the national championship game. To me, Oregon looked like the second best team at the end of the year, but that's easy to say after the fact.
Oregon or Colorado would have played a lot better against Miami, but both of them would still be blown out.

OH, totally agree. I'm a Cane fan......been rooting for the Hurricanes since the OJ Anderson days.....Miami was at the perfect place at the perfect time. Playing as an independent(just like FSU) allowed Miami to play lots of "lesser" oponents while still scheduling a couple top teams every years. Just a perfect situation for Miami back in the day. I'm very proud of those championships. I just wish they were still competitive.

As a Gator fan, i have to say that I'm very impressed by CaneFreak2011's work on youtube...like seriously! And thank you for not dubbing all this with shitty music. The Gators had a great run in the last part of this past decade, but Miami RULED college football in the first half the decade, especially in 2001. I always pull for them whenever they play FSU.

FYI: I'm a Cane fan and have been for 30 years...I'm very proud of their 5 NC's and all the NFL talent....Miami has 1 NC in the last 20 years.....Florida has 3.....Who's ranked in the top 5 this year? Miami is practically irrelevant......Miami's last losing season was 2007.....I consider an 8 win season a mediocre season.....don't know of any big time program that thinks 8 wins is good? Again...I played college ball....I have more knowledge than you ever will my friend.
