Well the highlight of boatlife for me was meeting both of you ☺️. The "hot-tub" man needed to relax, earlier in the day he was getting a proper workout in the resistance swimming pool (far too energetic for me). I can't believe you missed out on the chip van - they were good 🍟😉. As a first time visitor, I did enjoy the experience but would have preferred more canal bits but like you said, still worth the day trip. Crick next hopefully👍
aw thanks Michael! was lovely to see you (again for Wes!) 🥰 hahaha yes! i’m glad it’s not just us who noticed that guy… agree with your thoughts on the show, bring on Crick! 🥳
Wot no Condor 2000? GG, is better than anything in the show - she's a happy home! Hope you feel better soon Amy, and are able to get back on the chips xxx
Poor Amy, hope you recover quickly. I loved Stargazer too. If i could get a new boat, this is the sort i would choose, not a wide beam, as want to cruise the whole network. Thank you for sharing your day.
Nice day out to Boatlife for you.🎉. Hope your mouth is improving Ami. You and Wes seemed to have enjoyed it, shame there weren't more long boats but its what it is. Take care and stay safe. 🙋🙏🎊🛥️
I just think these really posh boats don't get the magic of boat life more about the money not your guys proper boat life and more real love your life xxxx
Hi Wes and Amy. That looked like a good day out. Shame there wasn’t many narrow boats this year. Hope your teeth are starting to feel better Amy 🥰Take care. Nick
lovely vlogging guys, cant wait to finally come to one of these, looks like a fab day out, hope the tooth's ok....sorry there isn't a tooth actually, we hope Amy is ok xx
That wide beam boat looked pretty much like an apartment or flat with a nautical theme. With a wider boat wouldn’t that restrict your access to some canals and aqueducts? I would imagine Harecastle tunnel would be no go and forget going to Wales.
yes you are quite restricted with widebeam boats as you basically have to pick north or south waterways. The midlands are all narrow locks so you can’t get through there.
Such a great video. I want them all now. So sorry about your dental. Just had mine out in October, I feel for you Amy🥺take care, hope you heal quickly.
The trailer was amazing! Did you get a price on it? It must be outrageous. Loved the low key vibe this time. So happy you were brave and looked at the racer. It was astonishing. Very proud of you. Stay safe and well.
Another year of Boat life. I actually liked that wide beam. That little camper was really nice. I loved all the wood. I am thinking Steve fell in. 🤣🤣 We will see. Hope your mouth is feeling better. I was blessed. For some reason, I never had wisdom teeth. I know they can be so painful as I remember when my oldest son who is now 37 had his out. I felt so bad. Have a wonderful week and see you both next time. 🩷🩷
The camper was so nice! You'll have to wait and see about Steve 😁😁 Wow that's very fortunate! They can be such a pain to get out 😣 Hope he recovered okay! Thanks for another lovely comment 🥰
We were there on the Friday and although we had a nice day out we were to be honest a little underwhelmed 😔 we loved the trailer too but would have preferred another canal boat. We had a look around two boats and I have just laughed my head off because we made pretty much all the same observations and comments as you on the Collingwood 😂 We only managed to get onto two boats because of the big queues 😢 I did hope we may have bumped into you but maybe another year. Thanks as ever for another lovely vlog 😊xx
Ooh! Yeah we felt the same to be honest, we'd definitely like more inland waterways stuff, and the boats that were there were quite similar. Hopefully it'll improve next year! I'm sure we'll bump into each other some day! Thanks for watching as always! 💕💕
I'm going to have to call you two out on this: say in that word trailer admiring the finish.. who painted over their beautiful ash ceiling in white? Hmm? HMM!?
haha, It’s just plywood in our narrowboat stained an orangey wood, we didn’t hate it but we’re glad we painted it white as it feels bigger and brighter 👍🏻
Deffo a narrowboat still! Mainly because of the freedom of being able to travel everywhere on the network and also narrows are much easier to manoeuvre and find moorings for!
Twin hand basins in a boat where space is a premium? Wide beam or not. Don't even have that in our bathroom at home in a house. I've never seen them in a house. Not the houses I've lived in or even visited. Not even a hotel room that I've stayed at.
The trailer has got to be the best. Amazing wood design. Thanks for taking us to the show. Amy hope your over the tooth extraction.💚
Agreed! We absolutely loved it. Thanks for watching! And for the kind words 🥰
The boat show needs a Condor 19 section😂 where the serious boats hang out🤣. Hope your feeling better Amy.xxxx
Big lol at Amy for showing the narrow in narrow boat.😂
😂 it was a tight squeeze!

Awww poor Amy’s tooth - great video guys 😃🏴☠️
I’m fed up of mashed potatoes 😂 thank you! ♥️
AMY- you are such a nerd! Who else would be on the floor of a closet to look at their wiring!
OK- here in the US we have lakes where we water ski and ride jet skis. Is that a thing in lakes in the UK?
Another great video guys! Some really good shots of that racing boat, and an awesome thumbnail 😎 love it! Amy, hope your tooth feels better soon 😊

That first boat is nicer than most apartments in London (probably more affordable too! ;P)
love little day trips like this to trade shows. Hope the teeth-holes healed ok!
lovely vlogging guys, cant wait to finally come to one of these, looks like a fab day out, hope the tooth's ok....sorry there isn't a tooth actually, we hope Amy is ok xx
Wasn't that trailer just gorgeous?! You were checking out the loos like us too 😂😂 Great to meet you IRL 😊
Great insight thanks for sharing this visit. Looked fun. ❤

We have a trad stern but we have an extra wide hatch. This allows other people to stand at the back with the steerer almost like a semi trad 😊
Oo that sounds like a great design! 😊

10 out of 10🎉🎉🎉
thanks simon! 🥳🥳
💜💙💚 Fabulous.
thanks Tia!! ❤️❤️
What is the name of the photographer please? X
Her name is Gill Shaw photography 😊
preferred narrow to wide tbh
We agree ☺️
😊
2 Narrowboat Companies not showing this year Swan Boatbuilders & Oakums. Less Narrowboats than last year. 😕
yeah we were disappointed to see less than previous years but apparently they pulled out last minute is what we heard 🤔
You should start a new channel called homes on the water (instead of homes under the hammer)you would make great hosts xx
Haha!! Now there's an idea 😁 thank you! 😀
Hello
👋🏻😊
Money not being a consideration, would you still choose a narrow boat or a wide beam?
Deffo a narrowboat still! Mainly because of the freedom of being able to travel everywhere on the network and also narrows are much easier to manoeuvre and find moorings for!

Yes wisdom teeth hurt
Agreed! 😣
