  • In another episode of my Aquarium Rack rebuild we will take a closer look on the development of my new Aquariums over the past few weeks. Especially the growth of my Micranthemum var. 'Monte Carlo' and Pelia Moss have been growing really great considering that I am not using any additional CO2 and am growing my plants in low-tech simple aquarium set-ups.
    Colonies of Neocaridina Shrimps are definitely helping me accomplish the beautiful growth of my plants and also are keeping algae under control, as I did not experience any algae issues with these new Aquariums yet, what I am really super glad for.
    I have currently also filled-up the last Aquarium of my new Aquarium Rack I really want to hear your opinion guys, what would you like to see in that Aquarium?

    Pat... that looks awesome! Love seeing what people do with lo-tech tanks. I might actually give the Monte Carlo a try.

    Love to see a horn wort in the white stone tank. I would shape the moss a little, but I like the fact that you are letting it g ET ow a bit. Little pathways for fish would be fun

    Such beautiful tanks. Congratulations on your 5k milestone. The monte carlo carpet is awesome. I would leave the pilia moss to grow and keep an eye on the java moss so it doesn't entangle the pilia moss. The project tank, my ideas would be the Opae ula shrimp or cardinal sulawesi shrimp. The Opae ula are a super tiny shrimp that require brackish water. The cardinal sulawesi need a well seasoned tank. They are really beautiful.

      @chevyfish thank you so much Chevy! :) Such a great ideas! And I really appreciate your support :) I think I will just leave the mosses to grow even more so I have more moss to use later in my future tanks :)

    I've a question can you substitute microworms instead of feeding bbs to baby guppies? Pros and cons??

    • @undersurfacechannel
      @undersurfacechannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @CrowntailHalfmoon thank you so much for your support! I really appreciate it! Honestly, as far is the diet is rich on protein, it will be alright. BBS is by far the best grow out food for baby guppies, but honestly I don't really feed it right now either as it is fairly expensive. I have been feeding microworms in the past too and baby guppies seemed to love it. So my suggestion would be if you can feed BBS, feed that, but if for any reason it makes more sense for you to feed microworms, that will do just fine as well :) just make sure to provide them varied diet as well. Thank you for your comment! :)

      Thanks for sharing.
      Yes bbs eggs are very expensive for me so I'm looking for an alternative cheaper sustainable live food.
      So far they are doing well on it but i do supplement with crushed flakes
