Hey, for anyone who sees this, I wanted you to know, God loves you, Jesus loves you, and God wants to have a wonderful relationship with you where He can guide you and talk with you, where He can be your Lord, and your God. But you have to give up your sin, you have to leave a life of sin and choose to follow God and choose to follow Jesus. You have to be willing to deny yourself, and take up your cross and follow Jesus. (Matthew 16:24). Jesus said “For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” (Matthew 16:25). Please, choose Jesus over your sin, sin will never be worth it, and sin leads to death and death leads to hell. (Romans 6:23 ) Jesus brings life (John 10:10). Jesus died for your sin to save you, if you choose to believe in Him you will be saved. (John 3:16) Jesus Christ loves everyone and died for all of our sins. Jesus also rose again from the dead three days later, proving everything He said to be true (before He died He said He would rise again from the dead). Everyone has sin and the wages of sin is death. Sin leads to death and death leads to hell (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23) But Jesus died for our sins and paid our debt to sin, so anyone who chooses to believe in Him will be saved from hell and could go to heaven. If you want to make Him your Lord and Savior you could say this prayer: Lord Jesus, I confess You as my Lord and Savior. Please forgive me for all of my sins, I repent and I turn to You. Please help me to live for You, and I love you. In Jesus name, Amen! If you prayed that, Glory be to God! Please get a Bible, read it every day, pray everyday and please go to church. As a Chicana from Colorado with 53 years of life, Cinco de Mayo When I was coming up was really an opportunity for Mexican Americans to display pride in being Mexican American. As opposed to the shame that was put on us during all the rest of the year. Context around how this celebration became so important part of Mexican-American culture in Denver is based in the response to the discrimination and racial prejudice against Mexican Americans in Colorado. When my grandmother was growing up -she was born in 1920- there were still signs that read no dogs and no Mexicans. When my uncles were coming up, they were still being harassed by police when they would go, cruising or had nice cars. Then in Colorado we have four seasons. 5 of May occurs at a very lovely time of the year where it’s not too hot and it’s not too cold. So in a non-formal way at first, All the Chicanos would go, cruising on the same route out of a need for safety from police harassment. Then even though there was police presence and intimidation, but everybody was together. It was an act of resistance in itself. By the time I was in my 20s when I would go cruising on the Cinco de Mayo weekend, I would meet people from Kansas, Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico.. they would say that Denver had the best Cinco de Mayo from all around and that’s why they came to participate. by the time I was 30 the celebration in the Civic Center Park in Denver was three days and huge. I cannot speak for the totality of Chicanismo, I can speak to my experience. From my perspective, the Mexican-American Cinco de Mayo is a form of resistance to the discrimination and actual violence that many of our people experienced and survived. It is a sort of Brown Pride day and was a way that we orphans of Mexico could connect to something that symbolized that we once belonged and had a home that didn’t hate us. This is my oversimplified, inept attempt, at sharing out some of the experience of life as a pocha in the USA at the turn of the century. Palabra.

Jesus loves you!
What about the Mex history of being desperate for constant European approval? Why doesn’t anybody mention that?
I 💕 the lo-fi hip hop music in the background! It's so calming and relaxing and it sounds really sweet and really pretty! Those melodies sound so silky smooth, dreamy, and relaxing, and those drum beats sound so cute, refreshing, and adorable! The drums are the sweetest and prettiest sound of the music in the background because they add cuteness and chill vibes to those soothing and peaceful melodies! They sound so pretty that they sound as if a cute anime girl was playing the drums! The music in the background is the perfect accompaniment for your calming voice and this beautiful-looking drink! 🥰😊💕
I dont know if you know or not but its actually a song by Justin Timberlake that's called Cry Me a River. Its definitely a masterpiece especially knowing the emotion behind it and the pure heartbreak Britany Spears had put him through.

In Puebla Mexico is where they would celebrate the battle victory and their descendants that moved to the U.S. would continue to celebrate Cinco De Mayo. From there, it caught on with Chicanos and then it became the way to celebrate Mexican heritage the same way Irish culture is celebrated on St. Patrick’s day.

Me as an American, I just notice that even though many Americans act as if being different is bad, many of us actually appreciate and love learning about others with different roots. Celebrating is celebrating. You really don’t need an excuse to celebrate. Celebrate the fact you woke up.
another fact is that america has had a lot of mexican immigrants and heritage throughout its inception, so its been kind of mixed into the culture
@@totalrekal4195another fun fact, here in mexico, cinco de mayo isn’t really a big deal, just in the US the americans seem to celebrate it

@jacobross735 same continent different countries. Americans are called Americans because our country is 'The United States of America'. But, Everybody in both South and North America are Americans, yet they call themselves Puerto Rican, Canadian, Mexican, etc. Immigrants are just people who go from one country to another country. 1. Fresh strawberries - topped, rinsed, puréed with water and strained
2. In a pitcher, add condensed milk and whole milk and mix to combine
3. To serve, add ice and fresh strawberries in a glass, mix the aqua fresca before pouring into the chilled cup and enjoy

Palabra.
thx for sharing it I was looking for comments like this
