Every piece of music he wrote could top the charts today. Him and everyone he’s worked with were always ahead of the game.

The Netherlands was the only country to recognize the genius of Adrian. Most of The Sounds record sales and gigs were in Holland. Shocking how he was ignored in the UK. We have to thank the Dutch music press, venues, and the fans for keeping his career going back then, and they took great care of his legacy too. All those re-releases have been awesome, and there’s even a documentary and a book. Respect!

Rest in Peace Mr Adrian Borland. Like a lot of the greats, gone before the planet recognised the genius.

I'm glad that I found this interview to see this great man. In The Lion's Mouth is an utterly amazing album.

Such a talent. He gave us so much music. His solo work is among his best. The Sound are brilliant of course, and the Citizens were very good but Cinematic and Lovefield are really great too. Plus the posthumous releases. So much music. He must have rarely stopped working. Unappreciated in his time but an amazing legacy. He left his mark.

Just discovered The Sound. So sad to hear Borland jumped in front of a train.

It really hurts doesn't it? What a terribly gruesome way to go. He deserved better.
