I used to achieve this lovely curly afro look when I was in my 20's back in the 70's using pink setting lotion, hair jell and Begamount hair grease with soft pink sponge rollers using end papers to keep my 4C kinky hair smooth and prevent frizz. Old school works me. Thanks for posting.

This video is THE FIRST ONE I've seen that (I've watched many) that FINALLY explains the flat twist!! People keep telling me to "grab more hair". Trust, that does not make sense. If I'm holding two sections, telling me to "grab" hair just does not make sense. Anyway, thank you thank you thank you!!! I get it now.
