Such good work being done here by this great young player. The metronome, the drone, variations in dynamics, variations in call & response, the quality of the video, the notes, presentation, the sound quality of her playing, the focus, the humanity of her text verbiage, and most if all her great playing! These ABC’s Betsy has produced are timeless shining examples to help any player any level.

Thanks Matthew! Still working at it 🙂 I think what helps us all find our most resonant sound is to find balance in our sound production. If we're really whistling the right note underneath, and if our abdominal support is dialed up, we're better able to let go everywhere else (chest, shoulders, arms, neck, etc) and a vibrance can shine through the sound. Happy practicing!

You should play the StarWars theme as your intro text roll over the screen :-)

Haha! Can't afford the rights to that tune, but it would be funny to do a knock off version sometime!

Hi! you could try this one: th-cam.com/video/GJc3_uJ_SAM/w-d-xo.html It's not meant to be for a beginner, exactly, but I think it could work. Hoping to make some more videos soon after I finish some other projects. Thanks for listening, and happy practicing!
