I'm selling my home and amost fully sold most of my furniture and belongings. I'm planning to boondock most of the time. I have social anxiety disorder and being in crowded campgrounds isn't an option. I will follow your channel, I am pushing 60, and flying solo with 3 labrador retrievers. Lol!

LJ, thanks for following us! Sounds like you have a "house" full of furry companions! They are the greatest travelers, and I'm sure they will love boondocking, too.

Great info Shelley. I wonder if you would share what to look for and/or look out for when purchasing an RV. Not there yet but don't even know where to begin. Right now I just tent camp - and spend way to much for what little I get. Whats a good affordable way to camp CO to MO when fishing or kayaking?

You got it! I have a whole training module inside of the Solo Traveler Community dedicated to helping you find the perfect RV. I'll put a video together with some of the highlights! Thanks for the suggestion!

@@PhotoTrippingAmerica I have also noticed on another site I look at where RV buyers note the different licensing fees, taxes, etc and note it makes a HUGE difference as to what state you license your RV in. Some have noted that they set up LLC's in other states in order to avoid hefty fees. What is your experience with this??

@@suzyspencer4668 Yes, depending on what type of taxes you are trying to save, Texas, Florida and South Dakota are the least expensive to license your vehicle in. If you are trying to save on income taxes, declare residency in a state that doesn't have personal income tax , there are several states that don't collect personal income tax.
