    I would check that play in that transmission and make sure that's not the reason for that damaged ring

    Pop Goes the Transmission Cause the Transmission goes Pop.
    I got myself an older D4 cat dozer for free cause the transmission was shot. The guy could not fix it. Let it sit 7 years. Then decides to get rid of it cause he was selling the land. All I had to do what remove it. Took me a year to restore it. Runs like a top now. It had the tool bar and some attachments.

    $2500 I would say because they know the loader is useless without it

    Hi. Just started watching your channel looks like good content. Im a farmer up in central Michigan. Im going to guess its around $500. Also was curious what size your shop is? M an in need of one and I know they are never big enough but money is a problem for a big big one. Just curious what people making do with. We run about 500 acres of row crops and hay along with some livestock (beef and pigs).

    • @dirtgrainsteel
      @dirtgrainsteel  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for watching....well our shop started out to be 36x48x14 back in 2005 and back then we were just farming that was before the excavating and I was perfect for the operation we were only farming around 500 acres then with a 4430,4955 and a 8430 and a 1660 for a combine so we had plenty of shop space but then we started excavating in 2008 and picking up more ground and then the shop started getting small but we could still get stuff done a few years ago we added a 20x48x10 lean to off the side and that helped tremendously we got more floor space in the main shop area because we moved alot of stuff in to the new addition....36x48 is a pretty comfortable size for a farm but if you could throw on a lean to off the side I think you will be really happy....like you said they are never big enough....I'm planning on building a new shop for my personal use and TH-cam and over flow from our shop it's going to be 40x60x16 that's my plan anyways we will see what happens!

    $1500 to $2000 knowing prices of parts now! big steel ring precision holes and the friction friable
    fiber lock. is it to prevent damage? steel one would be nice over the fiber, more permanent. unless
    that is the weak link to prevent damage between drive and transmission.

    Hey guys just found your channel I the same case loader my problem is the gear selector will not change 1 through 3 fells like it won't go into low gear any ideas what to look for thanks

    • @dirtgrainsteel
      @dirtgrainsteel  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey! So when did it start this problem were you using it and it developed it? And if so what were you doing when it happened? I've seen 3 things happen so far being involved with these case loaders our own and a friend of ours has one #1 I've seen the gear selector actually go bad and not work properly #2 1 of the 3 solenoids down on the transmission the electric magnet will go bad and they won't shift and #3 I've had sticks get up in the belly and either unplug the shift solenoids or actually rip the wires off of them.....so really the problem is probably between the selector in the cab and the solenoids down below....CSI In Elwood,Indiana would be the place to call that's who helps us with our transmission issues 877-274-7278

    I call that bake rite material. It is supposed to be a weak link between the engine and transmission. I'd say 950.00. They use the same kind of material on the door hinges on vermeer balers. It's on the ware points between steel on steel .

    Not to be negative, but that ring is a safety device for the engine. I hope it just wore out and did not break because of a transmission/hydraulic problem.

    i have a prod. with my trans .can you tell me if there is tran fluid in the solinoid case,my 621 has oil in the soilinoid case ,i think its afecting the operation.because the power and ground in there is not weather pac sealed for each solinoid

    • @dirtgrainsteel
      @dirtgrainsteel  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      My 621 don't have a silinoid case it never has I don't know where it went so all my wiring is just zip tied up I do know some times I have a connection issue with the weather packs and I blame it on oil also when it acts up I just clean everything with brake clean and it's fine so I would start there spray everything really clean and see if it helps if not I have a guy I can get you in contact with that knows these loader extremely well
