If people were punished for doing awful things to good people then the lineages of colonizers wouldn't exist anymore. Some of the worst people in history lived long lives while good people suffered. The woman who was responsible for Emmett Till's murder lived into her late 90s protected and hidden. Sometimes awful people don't face consequences while the good suffer.
Long life can be a curse too, depending on how you view it. But i understand what you mean. Sometimes it seems like some of the most evil people seem to just keep getting away with it, while good people suffer. But maybe those are things that aren’t meant to be known to us yet.
