    This is Amazing.
    They are very beautiful and it really really impresses me how you make them look so clean and nice even when they are long
    Last time I made a vfx graph asset in unity I got lost after 2 hours and it took me a lot of feedback to get it to look how I wanted it to look from the beginning.
    Seeing the one with the flowers and rain which was also long and also stunning is incredible.
    Great work :)

    • @careblol
      @careblol  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Thank you! VFX can take a long time to process, getting the timing and everything in place just right. I did notice that the effects are lasting wayyy too long, which can easily be overlooked when working on VFX. At least it looks nice, right? 🤣

    Amazing demonstration of how working with shapes, timing and colors can look much better than overdesigning with less defined particles. Really inspiring, I need to stop using procedural textures for everything

    • @careblol
      @careblol  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Oh wow, thank you for comment! Unity can be quite overwhelming at first, but it gets easier if you break it down one at a time. Always start small and work your way up. If it gets too complex for you, step back and try again later. A strong foundation is a powerful asset for creating effects. As long you have fun, that's all that matters. Gabriel Aguiar's channel helped me learn the basics and I created my own effects after I became confident enough. Hope this helps!

    • @careblol
      @careblol  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's all thanks to the particle system (shuriken) and the shader graph! I used the shader graph in order to create an erosion effect and even the pixel bit style. I don't have any tutorials at the moment, but a few people has been asking about it and I took note for something I might do in the future.
      If I could provide a recommendation, check out Gabriel Aguiar's channel! He's the first one that allowed me to learn the basics of Unity's particle system and provides thorough tutorials.

      Thank you! It took awhile, but yes, I was able to get a job that will help me get that first step.
      When it comes to applying for jobs in the game industry, it's important that the portfolio matches what they're looking for. A portfolio with stylized effects for a studio that specializes in the same style speaks louder than everything else. Give them what they want to see.
      Since you are looking into game VFX, try to find the art style that you like and go from there. If you have an idea of what you want to create, then act on that before it goes away.
      Thankfully TH-cam has a ton of free tutorials that can help you get started on the fundamentals and grow from there. It is a field where you are always learning and it never ends, but that's where the fun comes in!

    Do you do tutorials or have recommendations where to look? I'd really be keen to start creating my own

      I do not have any tutorials at the moment, but I recommend checking out Gabriel Aguiar's channel! He provides videos on how to create various effects in Unity with the shuriken system, shader graph, and VFX graph.

    I have a question. I 'm İnterested in vfx and I want learn so When I start learning vfx? And how can i improve

    • @careblol
      @careblol  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey! There are a ton of tutorials on YT that can help you get started. I recommend checking out Gabriel Aguiar's channel and he offers beginner friendly tutorials in Unity with the particle system, shader graph, and VFX Graph. He also has some courses on Udemy.
      The best advice I can give is start small and strengthen your fundamental skills. Avoid anything too complex because it can get overwhelming fast and you won't be able to enjoy it. The key is to have fun!

      Now that you mention it, it does feel like a recall! I'm familiar with League, so I can see what you mean.
