  • Today we start the actual buildout with the custom Aluminum Dashboard for our LS3 swapped Land Rover Defender. It doesn't go exactly as planned but we still get further on our left hand drive conversion dash.
We finally use the CNC Plasma for the project we acquired it for.
Let me know what you guys think.
Make sure to subscribe to keep up to date on this Defender build.

I appreciate hearing that, trying to get back in the rhythm of things with a few life changes outside of the ranch.

MOAB!! Too bad you can’t cut the aluminum with the laser. Have a great trip!

Excited to make the trip out there, should be a fun few days.
Need a laser like 15-100x more watts than mine to reliably cut aluminum, maybe someday haha.

Yeah, I'm not sure about the weather anymore haha.
3 days is easy, plenty of parts laying around here haha. Now if it then makes the trip, that is another story.

Great update, glad to see that you are back on the LS Defender. The dash project looks to become on really nice and I’m sure will look frigging amazing once all of the jigsaw bits are finally together. The planed trip in the Eco Disco sounds a whole lot of fun, so will be looking forward to that video as well. Keep up the great work. 😎👍🍻

It should come together nicely. Going for a meld of series, classic Defender and TD5 Defender. I'm thinking center stack painted body color and the outer wings wrapped in leather to match the seats. But I may flip flop that.
Should be fun to head out to the desert with that guy.

At least you have a better idea of what exactly you need following the mishap.

Definitely, will be able to knock the final product out efficiently while keeping it nice and clean looking.

I get it...I welded for 2 hours Sunday without turning on my shielding gas. Total waste of time.

Isn’t that funny how the brain works. Something that is so regular just gets missed every once in awhile.
