I'd really love to do a big turbo but I really love how safe this tune has been. Several track days and 8k miles and still a blast. Thank you for your support!
Great video and explanation of every step. I really appreciated that you took the time to voiceover with detailed explanation of each step taken. MR230 in Europe includes cam timing. In the US, is that included in the map thats uploaded to the ECU? Im asking this because I didnt see you do the cam timing. Im looking forward to your next video with the dyno comparison and the real world review. I also have this kit on my ST and I have also dynoed and logged it so Im curious as to your results. Based on my experience so far, its the best 1stg kit out there, both in performance and in reliability.
@@philhill7973 interesting. My instructions didn’t require me to adjust cam timing. I emailed them before I finished and the response was that it was not necessary. 🤷🏻♂️
Great video mate, I’ve been thinking about getting this kit fitted as I currently have the Mountune MP215 upgrade and love how much better it is than the standard car. Did you also do the cam timing change which is part of this kit? Unless the US upgrade is different, here in the UK the cam timing adjustment moves the exhaust timing by one tooth and this is the part of the kit im most worried about. In Northern Ireland there are no Mountune garages like in England so i would have to use a mechanic which is likely not familiar with this kit, is it something you think any good car mechanic could do?
Yeah so I've seen other youtubers say that you need to do this but Mountunes kit does not require this to be done. Their tune is specific to the setup which just makes everything plug and play.
I still love it. I wish I could add more options like Cobb has for launch control but I haven’t asked if they can add to this to my tune or would I need a new tune.
We are finally about to work on the update and dyno video for this. It's been almost 10 thousand miles / 16 thousand kilometers now and the cars been great. I'll get that video out soon and thanks for reaching out.
I’m not sure what stage you’d like to call it. It’s a bigger intercooler and piping, cold air box, and full exhaust with a Cobb tuner and custom tune. Stock turbo.
@@shabbagucci9008 when I looked at the Mountune USA the MP215 was basically stage 1. Think that’s just the cold air box and Cobb tuner. Either way it was a great value and I’d recommend it as a reliable safe tune.
Best tutorial compared to all of the other big youtubers. You deserve more views man
Thanks Tyler!!!!! Spread the word and maybe there will be bigger installs in the future! We appreciate the kind words!
this is amazing two years down the road and this was so helpful
Thanks soo much we greatly appreciate your feedback! 😁🤙👍
That’s a very nice bit of kit! Mountune should be proud of the work you did and the quality of this install video.
best tutorial by far great job
wow top quilty video, please do more for the fiesta st, maybe a big turbo upgrade? or anything really, I enjoy watch ur installation video

I'm wanting to order the Mountune exhaust for my Mark 8 Fiesta ST soon. Was interested to see this install 🙂

For some reason we dont need it over here
Thought the cam timing is altered on the mr230 mk7!
No but I’ve heard on other companies kits make you change the cam timing. Mountune doesn’t.
@@NotAnotherCarVlog Just checked the mountune web site and it looks like the cam timing is altered .

The UK version did that, but the US version did not.
Really great video, man. I feel like Mountune should pay you for this! lol
Haha I really appreciate that. I mean if @mountune_usa wants to throw some parts our way we'll happily install them and make more videos! :P
Fantastic tutorial, does your new catback drone little?
josh yes it has a lower tone and a nice deep drone to it! Wish I had done a decibel check on the stock exhaust.

Did you ever dyno it?
Bongo Dave yes it made 22whp and 34ftlbs over stock... life got busy and I honestly didn’t do a great video of the Dyno sessions.
Any updated video's on the fiesta?
Where can I find the aftermath videos?
I need to shoot one.
And hows the feedback after about 1 year ?`
I still love it. I wish I could add more options like Cobb has for launch control but I haven’t asked if they can add to this to my tune or would I need a new tune.
G'day mate, what happened to the dyno video?

@@NotAnotherCarVlog So, where is it?
@@NotAnotherCarVlog just following up on this, is it coming?
@@olihaub sorry I’ve moved to my Drift Mustang build but I will work on getting a review video out in the next month or two. Sorry for the delay.
Forgot to mention the timing
What about the induction hose? That has the stock one?...
The OE induction hose was reused.
@@NotAnotherCarVlog probably wouldn’t make the stated 230BHP with an OE induction hose when the mountune one gives 35% greater airflow?
Do you need to order hose clip kit for this package or is this included? I can only see 2x on the picture and the package for clip kit contains 12x.
The hose clamp hardware come with the kit. I think this was just how they display what you get. Mountune thought this kit out very very thoroughly.
Is this a stage 1.
