It can show up at round 3,4 or 6 (one of those) and 2 other times.
Golden cogmowers luckily are designed as "an optional mob with loot", so you'll actually get to kill a lot of them in the long run since they give more cogs than you can ever get from a round speed bonus(which is probably 5 or 6 cogs, surpassed even by golden cogmower's minimum cog drop of 14).

Guess I'm really unlucky cus I've done 10 challenges and haven't found it once and yes I've gotten to the required rounds for it to spawn

I’ve completed ten of the beesmas quests and am doing pretty good on bee bear quests. However, I can pretty much quit beesmas quests now since I’m skipping stick bug’s quest this year.
u can get more soft wax by crafting them and by doing that u can finish the quest faster

when the quest say just "Collect" without tokens, you can craft the items too, a lil tip to help ya :D

Btw pro tip for people who are having trouble with bucko bees quest hop servers till you find someone with atleats 5 todpole bees and pop the bubbles from the frogs they help alot trust me

As someone who has completed all but 1 of the current beesmas quests (stickbug is hell) I can confirm that the final parts of bee bears 1st part quests are hell
Same stickbug is so hard
Bee bear is more time consuming I was able to finish it, but stick bug is hell and I am skipping it like I do every year
Stick bug is impossible without being endgame, while last year a midgame comoleted it. Wonderfull balancing Onett

I literally completed onett’s quest in an accident
So one time the goofy robo bear tell me to get blue pollen while I have a demon mask because I don’t wanna get bothered by the cogmowers, which sucks as all my upgrades I chose is red buffs. And once I set off to my blue pollen quest with my vicious bee, mantises jumped out(yes I forgor to kill the mobs in the fields for the 9182937th time). I realised something’s wrong with my vicious bee using all 13 spikes and when I turned back, I see the make-in-ohio-golden-cogmowers-who-just-wanted-to-mind-his-own-business and killed it
A trick i use for convert at hive is use the porcelain dipper

you can actually craft to complete the 100 soft wax quest
you can use auto-legendary to make hatching mythicals easier, you need 3000-10000+ to get 1 from auto-legendary

I die every beesmas quest that is in part 1 but I need to give translator to stick bug and I lost my sanity when I needed 250 snowbear tokens and my bear was level 12 and I had level 10 hive

u do wrong upgrades u need to do bee attack and pollen and critical power. u need to choose attack beed like precise and spicy and you can make it to round 14
tip: golden cogmower spawns in 3, 4, 6 / 12, 13, 14, 16
I think you should go blue because you have a solo passive on a red hive which does nothing but you can run a solo passive for blue
Also you have the honey to get mythics
Robo challenge is impossible to complete with a blue hive
