So basically, I'm breaking down whatever he did: So, the motion of the ball follows a parabolic path. The horizontal distance is called Range. Angle of projection being X. For it to cover a horizontal distance y, the formula R= u^s sin^2X/ 2g is used. Tbh, the pressure of the ball didn't matter. Idk why he measured the pressure of the ball.
It comes as late reply but it does matter... Pressure inside ball determines how much will it get affected by air resistance.. so pressure has to be at that point where effects is minimal...

All that use of engineering was made redudant the moment he decided to rely on the unknown variable of muscle power. You cant have unsolved variables in engineering.
it's not just the same speed, it's the same angle and direction every time. this takes training to form muscle memory. If he had that perfect muscle control from the beginning he could have simply made the shots by changing parameters in his shots. Like decrease/increase power, increase/decrease elevation by X% etc. He would have been done faster. But this all includes the impossible notion of perfect muscle control.
No....he can try to exert same forces trying to maintain the same angle and can average out his range...this physics is of class 11th....I read it few years back.

Even the basketball-shooting robot in Japan, solely programmed to make accurate shots, miss. How much more, an engineer prone to human error?
