Easy DIY NOODLE Stove BOARD using SHIPLAP

How to build a Noodle Board Cover or Ottoman Serving Tray using shiplap
disclaimer anytime anything is put on top of a stove it can become a fire hazard. We have been getting alot of use using this board as a flat surface for playing games on our couch.
We are still working on compiling all the video of our fireplace frame buildout. In the meantime we hope you like our tutorial on this noddle board stove top cover. We have actually found that this doubles great as an ottoman tray. Feel free to ask any questions, we are happy to help.
You will want to measure your stovetop and work off of those dimensions.
Materials used in this project were
1 piece - 5.25" Shiplap

(be sure to use the shiplap side not the tongue and groove side if you want the shiplap look)
1 piece Primed Pine Board (ours was left over from an upcoming project we will share soon)

Any white paint will do but we used a 2 in 1 primer/paint from Lowes.
Foam paint roller
