Thank you Mak for having the courage to show us there is more out there! My big wish is to be able to do sports again even in a wheelchair. So far it hasn’t happened outside of rehab due to a few different reasons. Archery would be my favorite, too, I think! Although bowling also had been quite a lot of fun in rehab, too 😅

Way to go. Being very competitive myself, I know that anxious feeling and trying new sports on such a.platform enhances. It made me realize how hard the U.S. paraolympic team practice must be, watching new try new things. Thought that Idaho challenge was also. I learned respect for handicap spots on black ice while on crutches. Learning so much thru your experiences. Things we truly just take for granted. Keep bringing it.
Mak please don’t give up with the sports. It helps so much with your fine motor skills. You will make progress and improve each time you practice.

I think you are a tremendous encouragement to those who are in your situation- more than you’ll ever know. I know you know it already, but not completely. It’s one thing to go do what you know you can and it’s another thing to go do what you might can do. But to go do or try to do things you know you cannot do… well that just screams volumes to the Power of keeping in the game, fighting the good fight and keeping on keeping on.
I am just so very very proud of you. You’ve got a tremendous support team around you. Even if that should ever change, remember that the Lord is near. Always. I’m a quadriplegic myself, just no triceps. How do you stay positive behind closed door’s? I can be positive and funny just like I use to be, but once I’m alone I always fall apart.
Shirley her, my orthopedic surgeon said I don't get my hip replacement soon he's afraid within the year I might not even be able to walk at all and I will need a wheel chair. I think your amazing.

I love your channel this is my moms dream for her younger sister (29) is quadriplegic she is currently in a nursing home, and it's such a horrible place for her (shes suffered bedsores, falls.) . I don't make enough to buy her all the equipment needed to care for her. Does anyone know how/if there is funding to help in some way? ( her caseworker kind of just wants to put her in hospice. She is too young, and I don't think she's been given the chance to even improve. It feels like no one cares to even give her the chance, u know she could get better if she wasn't being barely taken care of in there)
