  • www.truthforli... || By: Alistair Begg - Grief is undeniably, indescribably real. No matter how we try to hide from it or banish it from our minds, there is no escaping the life-shaking sorrow over loss. So how does a Christian walk through grief without doubting God’s love? Combining personal experience and biblical truth, Alistair Begg shares his observations on the reality, variety, and complexity of grief, as well as the recovery from it. Secure in Christ, we can find comfort in the hope of resurrection.

There's a time for hard truth and a time for tenderness. Thank you Alistair for knowing the difference.

Powerful. Reading excerpt from the losing a son book was so eye-opening. Now I know how others feel who have dealt with such pain. Such richness to what you shared here. Thank you.

What a great message! Thank you. I've been grieving for my fiancé that I lost just over a year ago. He wasn't a believer. I found my faith just over 3yrs ago but my fiancé just couldn't cope with that. For a while now, I've just felt so, meh about life. I'm zoning out and hours go by. This message has come just at the right time. God bless you 🙏

Thank you for this teaching, Alistair. I lost my father in 1970 when I was just 17. I miss him to this day. And my husband, who was the love of my life I lost in 2003. Your teaching will help anyone who is going through this terrible time.

send this to everyone you know. it speaks to the kind of grief hardly anyone speaks about. but we all need to hear and be reminded of what God says about it.
