Cats are resilient.we thought we lost one of ours in a F1 with trees down ( lived in the woods) everywhere you couldn’t walk or see anything. Then generators running and chainsaws going. About 20 hours later and with me calling for her constantly…she walks up. My cats have trackers now🤷♀️
God bless this woman and all who went through this Tornado. I pray she will find her cat as it can heal her heart so much.

Dont give up on your cat. When a tornado got us in our trailer march 9 2019 in scott ark. We got leveled. God only knows how we survived. We thought our pets were dead..while we were in the hospital our fogs were found alive. 6 days later in the driveway of where our trailer used to be i was calling for him at night. Out of nowhere he came running across the yard snd jumped to me as i knelt down.
Gont give up.

@@pliktl yup I know- but reporters do that all the time. It's well known, people don't appreciate it. A hug or 20.00 from his pocket would have meant more to her. He seems like a caring guy- the issue they need to be taught differently when they go to school for their degree.
It's good for her to keep talking. This is helping her to process her thoughts and feelings.

Yea, that's what I don't undestand. Why so many videos now say "apparent." You'd think after 100 years of dealing with tornadoes, we'd know what a real one is verses an "apparent" one. The general population is absoultely clueless when it comes to weather warfare. All you need to do is throw a word infront of something to add confusion to it and they're hooked.

I'm sure her cat is just hiding somewhere. Breaks my heart to think of what she and others have gone through. When they do these interviews, I wish t hey could arrange a way to help the people they're talking to.
We had 4 tornadoes in a 10 mile area and we were hit. It wasn’t the investigators, or the new crews that were a pain….masses of tree removal companies from all over the country came in wanting bids…which were triple the normal cost taking advantage. We stopped answering the door there were so many every day.
Hon, we were hit with a EF 1 and it took about 20 hours four my other cat to show up. But wooded land and we had trees completely down every 5 feet on 2 acres of land. Couldn’t drive or walk and only one entrance accessible to the house . Keep calling and looking…most likely your kitty is scared or hurt…just keep looking and calling.

@@mdijon851 thanks for the update, I wasn't trying to exclude anyone affected I genuinely thought it was a typo and didn't realize how widespread the destruction was.
Warning very long comment and spelling and grammar errors my phone is acting up .We have a tornado shelter my cat won’t follow us in their but she will follow me in my Dad’s closet where I sometimes sleep when we have a threat of Severe weather it’s between their bathroom shower, pantry, my parents’s bedroom and the hall so it’s all interior and has no windows
but we still prefer our Tornado shelter if it’s verh close heading straight for our neighborhood Thank God we haven’t got hit yes but we’ve had a few close calls I know Jesus calmed the storm for us a lof because we pray before storms and recently 2wks ago had a tornado heading for straight for our neighborhood bit it didn’t touch down just wind and hail my grandma’s house mom’s mom has no basement, and her closet is on the North side of her house but she can’t bend down anymore the safest place is her Dining room which is in her living room and her counter top blocks her it was near her and she has no storm shelter any idea to keep her safe ? Until she gets a shelter the neighbor who helps her lives in a house on a hill but my grandmother can’t get up there it takes her too long to get up in the car so that’s not in option either and her kitchen is next to the dining room and heels backdoor and garage door are both in the kitchen the backdoor is a glass door her front door is in the living room and also glass and she has a glass window right next her dining room area is probably the safest place but not safe enough since it’s in the exact same place as her living room and no basement for her . What should elderly handicapped people do during a tornado warning? If they have no shelter until they can get one sorry for this comment being so long.

Help rebuild all trailers into permanent solud structural home, ten times more durable and long lasting than tgeir trailers. You know all you people praying. Do you think if your prayers actually worked that this obviously intensified violent weather would still be happening around the world? Why don’t you get out of your fantasy world and accept the fact that climate changes real and vote appropriately. Tornadoes are a fact of life in the central U.S. in particular. The worst ones were pre-1950. They will always be a fact of life. In fact, this year has been extra slow and low activity in Arkansas. I do believe the activity is increasing over all and the 'tornado alley' is shifting, but it is cyclical. The gulf coast up through the Tennessee valley had become tornado alley the last few years, but it has shifted bavk to the plains these last couple of years.
