It’s actually a Chinese garden. We stumbled upon it and Wendell told me it was a Japanese garden, and since he used to live in Vancouver I assumed he was correct. Never assume anything! Lol. It’s called Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden.
Hi nateesha this was fun to bad it was raining wow that flea market had a lot of treasures that powered bracelet that was unique never seen something like that thanks for sharing your trip take care my friend
Lots of nice things at the flea market- but very expensive for most things. But maybe it's just that area is pricey in Vancouver. Enjoyed the gardens. Very nice there. Ha, ha, Wendall walks so fast through the gardens.
That was such a lovely walk. Very pretty 😍 the only spot that would freak me out was that massive "mall". That place is huge. Thank you for another wonderful episode 😊 xx
U have picked up items that are ceramic with beautiful glazes and tree wood like grain on back, the design could be vintage treasure craft. Sells well. Quite collectable. George the Nomad has written a book on treasure craft. 💞💞🙃💞💞
We had such nice warmer weather after this for a couple days. Hope you were here for some of that? Our rainy season is long…but it keeps everything very green. I remember when the Winter Olympics were going on they were trucking snow down the freeways from the mountains because we didn’t manage to get snow that year. It was sunny and warm. Bahaha
I must of just missed the warm weather. The first day was nice, the rest was rainy, a bit cold but warm enough to walk around. It was a nice change from the -25 we have here. I imagine spring is amazing with all the flowers blooming.
Welcome to my childhood in the Pacific Northwest and BC coast. always wet in the winter. That is why I moved to the Southern United States after college. Oregon, Washington and BC are beautiful, but winter is depressing to me. too wet and grey. I like to visit home but will not live there again.
The garden reminded me of a bonsai garden that I visited in China. 💕❤️

@@eclecticvintagethrifter hahaha! I bet it’s even more beautiful in the summer! I’m glad you made the best of it even in the rain. :)

Enjoyed the beautiful garden. Thanks.
Pricey Fleamarket, but then they had quality items. Fun times!
Lovely garden! And, moss! I love moss. : )
I'd like to see that garden In the spring. I'll bet it's absolutely beautiful!
I was in Vancouver BC in October. Beautiful time to be there. Leaves were changing but it wasn't very cold. Lovely city.

The Japanese garden was lovely especially in the rain!
Loved seeing so much plant life that's still green. Plus all the stunning unique items at the market.

Japanese garden was lovely. I loved all the moss. Do you watch Linda Vater? I thought of her channel watching this.

I agree, nice place to visit but not enough sunshine for me.
Lots of fun junk

No snow? Isn't that odd?
Not at all. It barely snows in Vancouver, mostly rain.
Not Japanese, Dr Sun Yat-Sen Chinese garden
