It’s so nice to see you thrifting in my neck of the woods! Yes, Vancouver’s very expensive. The prices they expect to get in a thrift store are almost as much as retail. Good you were able to find something to “fit in your suitcase!” Was exciting watching thanks for taking us along. Oh…and Happy Valentines Day to you and Wendell! ❤❤❤
Hi nateesha wow that’s a lot of thrift stores in one day loved the black and white fur coat the yellow chicks and those yellow and pink bunny and loved that blue bull you found some awesome treasures hope you and went had a good time in Vancouver looks like a cool place happy belated Valentine’s Day to you and Wendell hope you had a beautiful day take care my friend
Hi, Nateesha and Wendell-hope you're having fun. Those prices-e-yow!!! And HOW much for that nail sculpture??? Back when, everybody had those, and didn't think anything of it. Guess all of us should have hung onto them. Be safe, and Happy Valentine's Day! ❤️
Next time you and your husband fly out of town, take a large shopping bag that you can fold up and put in your suitcase. You can put the items in the bag that you buy. Your husband can take it on as an extra bag that he can stow under the seat in front of him. I've done that myself in the past. It works, unless they've changed their rules.
I was thinking to myself, I hope she makes it to Hob Too. I follow them on Instagram and they always have such amazing pieces. You’re right, though, higher end prices…
Nateesha, Did you each have checked luggage or only small luggage (carry on)that you take on the plane? I guess maybe you didn't check too many bags to bring too many items home from thrift stores.
I had a carry on and a small travel bag that fit under the seat. I made sure not to put too much in the travel bag on the way there, and was able to fit everything I bought in it.
@@eclecticvintagethrifter Wow! You can travel out of town without checking-in a bag? Ha, ha, I could never do that....even just when I last traveled in my state where I live( USA,) to go about 400 miles away. I always travel and check in one suitcase and also have carry ons as well.. 😄😄😄😅 Do I know the meaning of traveling light? No way, ha, ha ha
@@eclecticvintagethrifter I had an Etsy account, made handcrafted Quilted items. Shipping was still crazy and then when Canada post was doing rotating strikes a couple of years ago, my items vanished and 8 lost a lot of money. I see there is a new service called Sendle I would like to try but I am unsure how it would work with ebay as they charge a percentage on shipping too.

Omg I lived 2 blocks from the wildlife thrift store for 7 years! Ahh i miss that store such good clothing there ❤ and other things!’
No way! Small world. It is a really nice little shop. I enjoyed thrifting there. 😊
Happy Valentines day to you and your husband ❤️
Lots of pretty things. But, so expensive. I hope you were able to get somethings to take back with you. I hope you had a Happy Valentine's day.
Ohh, I love those chicks!

Whoa those prices ouch! Happy valentines day!
Yellow chicks were so cute. What was that spikey $2 item?
It’s a flower frog, used for flower arrangements. People also use them to display ephemera.

How do you get around the insane Canada Post shipping costs?
I have a Canada post business account and purchase my labels through Etsy, it saves a bit of money.
