Luis Guzman is one of those actors that pops up a lot in movies & TV and everyone yells "Hey! Cool! It's that guy!". "Anger Management" & "The Count of Monte Cristo" are two other movies with Luis Guzman that I remember enjoying. I'm sure there are more.
This movie received poor reviews upon release, but I've always liked it about as much as the first movie. Especially the scenes of Mick using the Australian wildlife to terrorize the cartels.
I agree. This one of the few squeals that lives up to it's progenitor. I loved them both. I have not seen the third because I heard it was a bad movie and I don't want it to ruin the franchise for me.

The Bush tracker at the plane walked off because of the respect Mick has with them. Look at it like a John Wick situation. The "phone call" was Nick using what is called a "Bullroarer". The sound can travel over distances. Different variants have been used for thousands of years, across the world. I've always enjoyed this over the first movie. A lot more happening. Yep this scene was the inspiration for my making a bull roarer for a middle school international culture project. I was honestly shocked it worked, despite my rudimentary carpentry skills as a kid.
In the 70's, there was a song by Jim Croce called Bad, Bad Leroy Brown, all about a mean violent man that nobody messed with. Because he had the same name, Leroy felt that he had to maintain the reputation that people would expect, even though he was really a legitimate businessman.
Making this movie is when Paul and Linda fell in love for real. They were together for 26 years (1988-2014) and have one Son. Even split-up they are still close. Paul Hogan made one of the Best/Sweetest movie deals in Hollywood history. He pocketed half of the money from these movies made. Like 100 million off the first film alone. I highly recommend watching a Biography on Paul Hogan. He has had a crazy rags to rich life. Blue-Collar worker to Movie-Star! If anything watch his speech at the Oscars. So funny!! Always fun to watch you 2.

That was his plan with Mick, to use gunfire to push him toward/into the fire.
Leroy is legit. The ladies are way too young to remember the song "bad, bad, Leroy Brown." And that's his name so he built a gangster persona around just being an early "Staples."

Yeah there's nothing wrong with Leroy, he really is looking out for Micks best interest and simply tried to give him a job delivering stationary. He uses the attitude, the swagger and the name Bad Boy Leroy Brown simply so it will appear that he is bad...he's solid and a friend to Mick, we like him..😁

That's why Charlie and Daymon (Diamond) showed up.
They are easy to make too, I remember a few of us made them in year 7 woodwork class. Just drill a hole in a wooden ruler & tie a length thread & job done.
shortly after this film the couple made a movie titled "Almost an Angel". it was low-key but charming funny and sweet. More of Paul Hogan and his way of viewing the world with childlike innocence. definitely worth watching.
Everything Mick did in the outback, and the order in which he did it, was highly strategic: 1) Taking out their engine blocks forces the baddies into the same survival circumstances he’s long mastered. 2) First of their guys he takes out is their contact leader who probably the second person with the most survival skills. Both these immediately make their survival and escape much more dependent on Walt’s survival, so they have less leeway to kill him too soon. 3) The guy who goes to the river for water for coffee. The guy while he was asleep. The cop in the bathroom is comedic character actor Stephen Root. He’s hilarious. He’s been a bit cop again in Ghost. He was Milt, the guy with the bottle glasses and red Swingline stapler in Office Space. He was billionaire Jimmy James in NewsRadio, voiced a ton of animated roles, including one of those fish in Finding Nemo. He’s fuckin’ great.
The gang leader who helps storm the mansion shows up getting knives thrown into his chest by Hit-girl in KICK-ASS... he's also Creepy Cody in the cult classic LOVE & A .45.

i'm glad i finally got to this reaction and i really enjoyed it , yes critics complained it didn't quite capture the magic of the first [ who cares what those vultures think anyways !] i thought it was a fun romp and it expands on the character i loved seeing Mick Dundee and his wife back in action plus Mick showing his bad ass skills whilst back in his element . i just also noticed i added the 999 th like here alright 👍 Cheers to Tori and Toy you livened up my day !

He might even be better known as the host of Fear Factor than for News Radio.

That thing he is spinning is called a bullroarer. Its a device humans have used since the paleolithic days, and it was used for many things, such as banishing evil spirits, signaling the starts for hunts, to deter large animals, and to communicate across miles (it's very loud, as you can tell) It's a flat piece of wood shaped in some shape, such as a spade or spoon, with a cordage of some sort. The wood twists in the wind, and the cord vibrates while twisting, making the noise.
Never seen this, but I always enjoy you girls reacting to stuff. Btw, the black gentleman helping Dundee was also the star of his own sitcom series, 'Roc'. Great show!
All the cars following Mick to the mansion was called "A Happening," back in the day. There was a movie back in the 60s called THE HAPPENING.😊 The is also a song from that era by the same name.😊

1. My 4/20 and your lovely faces made this better this second time I saw this movie. 2. This brought me flashbacks of "Dirty Harry" with Clint Eastwood and his jumper. HINT 3. The noise Mick was making to summon his friends was a didgeridoo. A wind instrument used in the outback. 4. I still prefer the first movie. 5. Favorite character/actor was Miguel/Juan Fernandez.

Back then, everything my dad mentioned it it was boring to me and I just wanted to play my Gameboy lol. I would love to see some Clint now though. 😮those look cool. I will not lie, I want one! 2 was different, and felt longer which wasn't bad but I think they both have cute likable moments. I hear 3 is good for some but not so good for others.

Paul Hogan kind of lived part of these movies. He was an actor/comedian in Australia. Became big in the states because of the first movie. Moved here. Married Linda (his co star in the movie). Got tired of California, and moved back to Australia.
Just started...yes, we actually fished like that in Nevada; we'd go bat caving and pick up a dynamite stick or two from the desert rat prospectors who staked a claim out in the sagebrush. They made their own hooch (booze from fermented scraps) and half of them were mad as hatters from mining quicksilver (raw mercury). I can totes relate to the Aussies in the outback, they seem like my pals in the 70s! Plus, I really enjoy how involved you girls are with the movie, that is so fun! Funny memory. This was the first movie we rented that made our vcr head dirty. Entire screen was messed up. We asked my sister to call around and see if anyone sells head cleaner .... she was so nervous she called the local Uni-mart and asked if they sold hedge clippers..... you guys arent too far from me , do you have Uni-marts your way or just WaWas and 7/11s. 😂😂😂

Funny, I was reading a couple of comments and one suggested other Luis Guzman films and was just about to comment about Waiting and the Toy beat me to it. Good job woman. That movie is hilarious. You two should watch The Gods Must Be Crazy. A movie set in Africa and has a documentary style to it and is pretty fun also.
Also, you would love the show “Fringe,” 2008-2013, with Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson, and John Noble. It’s a forgotten masterpiece. Many people don’t even know about it. Watch the pilot episode. You will be hooked.
Toy, if Sue's fantasy/romance novel lifestyle appeals to you, I guarantee you'd enjoy "Romancing the Stone", and possibly its sequel, "The Jewel of the Nile".
Loved these movies when they came out, only recently watched the third movie, it was ok, compared to today's entertainment it really good. Worth watching.

I actually find the 3rd one very cute and funny but I know others don't like it. Other than these my favorite movie set in Australia is *Quigley Down Under* starring Tom Selleck and Alan Rickman. All the people joining their line of cars would be an older version of a "flash mob". 😂
Ladies, watch the third Crocodile movie. It’s a Trilogy and when you watch a Movie that a Trilogy you have to react to all three. The second was really good but the first one is better than the sequel. The third movie is the worst of the Trilogy and came out in 2001. So maturity of the third movie is in the year 2000 cuz that’s when they shot the film and then the editing and finalizing takes the longest in the Film Making Process. Plus you need to get approved and reserve your spot to have your Premier at the famous Premier Theater in LA set and then have it come out to theaters everywhere. That’s why the third movie came out in theaters in 2001.
When I was a kid l stayed on my uncles farm in Tasmania Australia and I went fishing in a river that ran through it. I couldnt catch anything, early in the morning l heard these explosions and then later in the day l went to the river to find all these dead fish floating in the water, he had went and used dynamite to catch the fish for me lol

That thing he is spinning is called a bullroarer. Its a device humans have used since the paleolithic days, and it was used for many things, such as banishing evil spirits, signaling the starts for hunts, to deter large animals, and to communicate across miles (it's very loud, as you can tell)
It's a flat piece of wood shaped in some shape, such as a spade or spoon, with a cordage of some sort. The wood twists in the wind, and the cord vibrates while twisting, making the noise.
What the bad guys fail to realize is that they aren't just up against Mick, they're up against the Outback.

1. My 4/20 and your lovely faces made this better this second time I saw this movie.
2. This brought me flashbacks of "Dirty Harry" with Clint Eastwood and his jumper. HINT
3. The noise Mick was making to summon his friends was a didgeridoo. A wind instrument used in the outback.

I gotta check out dirty Harry! My father in the 90s was crazy about Clint Eastwood. That's all he would talk about lol. Now that I'm older, I can appreciate them more I think. Back then, everything my dad mentioned it it was boring to me and I just wanted to play my Gameboy lol. I would love to see some Clint now though.

Just started...yes, we actually fished like that in Nevada; we'd go bat caving and pick up a dynamite stick or two from the desert rat prospectors who staked a claim out in the sagebrush. They made their own hooch (booze from fermented scraps) and half of them were mad as hatters from mining quicksilver (raw mercury). I can totes relate to the Aussies in the outback, they seem like my pals in the 70s!

Funny memory. This was the first movie we rented that made our vcr head dirty. Entire screen was messed up. We asked my sister to call around and see if anyone sells head cleaner .... she was so nervous she called the local Uni-mart and asked if they sold hedge clippers..... you guys arent too far from me , do you have Uni-marts your way or just WaWas and 7/11s. 😂😂😂

You two should watch The Gods Must Be Crazy. A movie set in Africa and has a documentary style to it and is pretty fun also.

Ladies, watch the third Crocodile movie. It’s a Trilogy and when you watch a Movie that a Trilogy you have to react to all three. The second was really good but the first one is better than the sequel. The third movie is the worst of the Trilogy and came out in 2001. So maturity of the third movie is in the year 2000 cuz that’s when they shot the film and then the editing and finalizing takes the longest in the Film Making Process. Plus you need to get approved and reserve your spot to have your Premier at the famous Premier Theater in LA set and then have it come out to theaters everywhere. That’s why the third movie came out in theaters in 2001.
I know many hate on the 3rd Dundee, but I love it. I've watched it atleast 20 times.

When I was a kid l stayed on my uncles farm in Tasmania Australia and I went fishing in a river that ran through it. I couldnt catch anything, early in the morning l heard these explosions and then later in the day l went to the river to find all these dead fish floating in the water, he had went and used dynamite to catch the fish for me lol
