This is probably the first reaction video that goes into actual detail, showing how complex the abuse is. Starts with mori, affects dazai and yosano. Dazai abuses Akutagawa which causes Akutagawa to mistreat Higuchi and abuse Kyouka. The abuse chain is so long and complex so I award you for being the first person to accurately put this in a reaction video! Especially including higuchi’s pain, the way you included how Tachihara feels about the loss of his brother, and also how complex Chuuya’s situation is where he cannot defy mori due to himself being manipulated etc. I definitely felt strong emotions while watching so I’ll definitely watch this over and over 😭😭❤️

Sorry you interpreted it that way but that isn't what happened. For one, Akutagawa wasn't babied, people still condemned his actions, same goes with Dazai. And the fact is that whilst Akutagawa's treatment is harsh and abusive with Higuchi, it isn't to the same level of how Dazai treated Akutagawa. Generally in the fandom I wouldn't compare them and say one had it worse than the other, it's simply how I think the characters would see it. Because it *is* the mafia, it's not going to be a kind place and the characters would understand that. I think people in this fandom do baby Akutagawa and Dazai a lot, it is a real issue, however that isn't what I was doing.

Also there are a lot of people who are involved in the cycle of abuse that aren’t talked about a lot like Q, Higuchi, Gin, and Kouyou. And their story’s are really important. I could go on about the stuff behind everyone but I’m not going to because it would become a whole essay if I did

( That's mostly because his abusive to her is not him doing what dazai does. But him not wanting help. Which is an effect of the abused he experience tbh ) Now another thing. Mori’s ability is actually not creating what he’s attracted to actually, she is just a combination of his regrets. So since she turned more childish he regrets what he did, but he can’t say or show how he feels because of his job. This is in know way defending him for what he did, it’s just I feel deep down he doesn’t want to do all this but feels like he has to, to keep his job. Like in the beast manga Mori works at an orphanage showing if he didn’t choose the path he did he would have been able to be a father figure like he wished to.
Yk something I noticed looking in the wiki is that kyouka, akutagawa, and dazai all hate dogs. None of the other people involved in the abuse cycle/chain have that in their dislikes and since these three are the main focus in the abuse cycle, it makes me wonder if there’s a connection there.

Uhh literally multiple characters sympathised with Akutagawa in this and I wouldn't say Dazai is as bad as Mori by a longshot. He also isn't a good person, I'm aware of that..which is why that wasn't stated in this video. Simply sympathised with his situation. Like every other character. Dazai is my favourite so it may be a little more focused on him..because it is MY video..but if you bothered to read the disclaimer you would of seen that I plan to make more in depth videos for each character and what they went through. Honestly the Abuse Cycle isn't really a cycle, it's a whole ass web with Mori in the center. I kinda like to think about as if it's like a food chain and a food web. The "food chain" part of it is Mori -> Dazai -> Aku -> Kyouka. It just goes down the line and doesn't branch off. The "food web" Adds other like Yosano and Q in EX: Mori abused Dazai, Yosano and Q (Elise could be added here too depending on how you look at it) So Mori has arrows pointing to all them. Yosano has no arrows pointing towards other since she didn't abuse anyone. Dazai would have an arrow pointing towards Q and Aku (Again depending on how you look at it, Chuuya could be added here). Aku would have arrows pointing towards Kyouka and Higuchi (The way he treats her counts as abuse and nobody can tell me otherwise). Kouyou could be added in there too and (Once again it depends on how you look at it) would have arrows pointing towards Kyouka and Chuuya. Sorry this is a lot lol

Mori’s ability is actually not creating what he’s attracted to actually, she is just a combination of his regrets. So since she turned more childish he regrets what he did, but he can’t say or show how he feels because of his job. This is in know way defending him for what he did, it’s just I feel deep down he doesn’t want to do all this but feels like he has to, to keep his job. Like in the beast manga Mori works at an orphanage showing if he didn’t choose the path he did he would have been able to be a father figure like he wished to.
Yk something I noticed looking in the wiki is that kyouka, akutagawa, and dazai all hate dogs. None of the other people involved in the abuse cycle/chain have that in their dislikes and since these three are the main focus in the abuse cycle, it makes me wonder if there’s a connection there.

Uhh literally multiple characters sympathised with Akutagawa in this and I wouldn't say Dazai is as bad as Mori by a longshot. He also isn't a good person, I'm aware of that..which is why that wasn't stated in this video. Simply sympathised with his situation. Like every other character.
Dazai is my favourite so it may be a little more focused on him..because it is MY video..but if you bothered to read the disclaimer you would of seen that I plan to make more in depth videos for each character and what they went through. Including Akutagawa.
Also their names are Yosano and Higuchi

I loved the video!! I feel like a lot of people don’t talk about the fact that dazai actually praised akutagawa. It’s another example of how much dazai has changed and I am kind of sad that you did not make them react to that. That’s just me though.

Honestly the Abuse Cycle isn't really a cycle, it's a whole ass web with Mori in the center. I kinda like to think about as if it's like a food chain and a food web. The "food chain" part of it is Mori -> Dazai -> Aku -> Kyouka. It just goes down the line and doesn't branch off. The "food web" Adds other like Yosano and Q in EX: Mori abused Dazai, Yosano and Q (Elise could be added here too depending on how you look at it) So Mori has arrows pointing to all them. Yosano has no arrows pointing towards other since she didn't abuse anyone. Dazai would have an arrow pointing towards Q and Aku (Again depending on how you look at it, Chuuya could be added here). Aku would have arrows pointing towards Kyouka and Higuchi (The way he treats her counts as abuse and nobody can tell me otherwise). Kouyou could be added in there too and (Once again it depends on how you look at it) would have arrows pointing towards Kyouka and Chuuya.
