For my job I’m not really able to look at my phone screen so having a super long video to put in the background that is so well explained I can literally picture what your talking about without looking at my screen is perfect! Fantastic vid keep it up
Quick tip for beam struggles if you’re on controller for BT2: Instead of spinning the joystick just flick it side to side. it still counts. I remember as a kid being unable to win those, but I discovered this method at one point and I never lost one since. Worth giving it a shot if you haven’t gotten it down. Nice vid btw
Seriously one of the most underrated, the most effort you put into these videos is absolutely crazy. Keep up the consistency and there is absolutely know way you won’t make it. I wish you the absolute best
This was a really great andfun binge video, but putting Super DBZ in Don’t Play while also putting DBZ Sagas in Maybe Play is ABSOLUTE INSANITY, deadass probably the first time I ever seen anyone put Sagas above Super DBZ.
I'm pretty sure they broke up the Budokai 1 story mode to make it take longer. Which makes no sense since you could easily just let us fight them in the order they took place...AND still be a size-able story mode.
Great, so maybe now before moving on to the PS3 games of Dragon ball, maybe try the 3 PSP games? 1. Dragon ball Z: Shin Budokai 2. Dragon Ball Z Sin Budokai: Another Road (Known as Dragon Ball Z Shin budokai 2 in PAL regions) 3. Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team
I got my fill of dbz on toonami everyday after school. I started watching in the saiyan saga and it went through to the end of the cell then started over and then the buu saga started airing and I got to experience those episodes fresh and new. I remember seeing ssj 3 goku in the toonami previews for the buu saga and was thinking it was gokus dad lol
An excellent series of reviews. Very comprehensive and well organised. It was a great way for me to relive those memories of playing the PS2 titles as well.
Absolutely love the Budokai Trilogy and the Budokai Tenkaichi Trilogy. Over here in Australia for some reason, we didn’t get the dub voices for Budokai 1 so all the voices are Japanese. Safe to say I didn’t understand what the language was as a 6 year old. The opening was also different, consisting of a mash up of story mode cutscenes with a generic instrumental track in place of Rock the Dragon. It wasn’t until several years after it came out, and after the BT trilogy came out, that I actually played all the way through Budokai 1. Once I got Budokai 3 there was no need to play Budokai 1 again. I also didn’t get Budokai 2 until well after Budokai 3 had come out too so I don’t have nearly as much nostalgia for it.
There's one person here in the comments going out of their way to leave hateful comments, clearly simply because you had mild, well argumented critisims about a game that they like. I reported the person simply due to the sheer volume of hateful comments, which counts as harassment in my book. I just want to say that I recognize all the effort that went into this compilation of in-depth game overviews / reviews and I enjoyed the structure of the different parts of each game that you gave attention to. I didn't agree with your opinion about the EU box art for Budokai 1, but I admit, I think that is nostalgic bias goggles on my part. Keep doing what you're doing. Subbed.
I was way late to the Dragonball party. My friends brother had it on TV one time and it was the Frieza saga, thought the fights were dope but I had no idea what anime was. I was never up late enough to watch Toonami. I didn't get into Dragonball until late in my teens when I had more freedom and time to pay attention to that kind of stuff. I never played any PS2 Dragonball games where my first Dragonball game was Fusions on 3DS and Xenoverse later, that's how I learned of Goku's story. I was focused on rpg's and racing games where I didn't get to play Budokai or other games. Looking back I had many chances to play it with my friend I just knew I was going to suck.
Back then when budokia first came out. We just appreciate the game for what it was. I didn't even realize till watching this video that great saiyaman was buu saga. I was just happy to have unlocked him even tho I never liked using him
Damn dude, gotta sub out of respect. Playing Budokai Tenkaichi 1-3 alone must have had you feeling like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day after a while lol those games were OD similar and suuuuuper packed with content.
I played most of them had all bt/b games and infinite world burst limit xv 1 ps3 ya never had super DBZ tho but I played it at a friend's but other than that thank you for re living our childhood great content
Despite all the DBZ games that have come out over the years, BT1 has the most badass and authentic Intro of all of DBZ games of the Franchise. BT2 and BT3 in my opinion still remains the most Unique and the best DBZ games in terms of content, quality and fanservices. And from the gameplay perspective aspects, these DBZ games that I mentioned are very close to the anime itself because of the Vibe and Charm, I don't know how to describe it but it was, and still is the most Unique DBZ experience you could have with the combat factor. (- Sheer amount de of characters - Transformations mid-battle (powering up and down) - Fusions mid-battle - Fast gameplay that has that "woah" feel - Tons of extra content - Story mode covering all sagas + movies - What If sagas - Shenron having permanent impact on game (character unlocks and whatnot) - Great tournaments that rotate availability - Edit characters with items (buffs) - 5v5 battles - Really Great and Epic Soundtracks - Destroyable environments - Entire stages could be blown up into their "destroyed" alternatives - Mission 100 being a great challenge - Artwork is 10/10 - Sound effects are great - Combat feels heavy and satisfying) Only Budokai 3, Infinite World and the Raging Blast 1 and 2 and all of PSP DBZ games except of Dragon Ball Z Evolution are still considered also very solid DBZ games, also the hidden gem that a lot of DBZ fans missed from PS2 Era of DBZ games is "Super Dragon Ball Z" which is also a real Unique and DBZ game, especially for the different gameplay aspects perspective.🤷🏻♂️✌️
Great video so far 39:59 from what I can gather this game dropped in US first because these games were made more for us than Japan. Since DB was extremely popular. Idk why they waited that long for a Japanese release though.
I remember grinding to get every breakthrough but only got 2 or 3 Only because I wanted to force the game to give me some other unique thing I can't imagine what it would give but I was intrigued by the concept I tried the same with the spongebob movie game but could never get the 99,999 or maybe it was 999,999 necessary points in that game either. 1:40:54 it is very much broken, all it is, is trying to not get knocked out because they can hit you with a cheap shot or move behind you instantly and ruin a good run At least in the first Budokai game.
Budokai 2 was hated because of the board game. It felt repetitive and gave people seizures and headaches if you play too many hours in one session. I thought it was alright I remember why it was hated back in the day
Not a Dragon Ball game in full but a crossover game between Dragon Ball, One Piece & Naruto. For example, Super Smash Brothers is not a Mario game just because it features Mario characters in it.
The games have become trash where you need to purchase every character and transformations separately. You can’t even do transformations anymore really, it’s fkn pathetic.
dude talking bout how the music was stolen but it was announced a few months how it wasstolen so he didnt find that out he just read about it when it went viral lmao
Bro I'm scrolling for a minute and this is the third negative comment here by you so far. What are you doing with your life watching a video and content creator you clearly don't like? You don't have to be here watching this, or someone is forcing you to? Seems like you already have a notion that you simply don't like this person and are going out of your way to find stuff to hate on?
Stick to Game reviews please, whenever you say an opinion on the actual series I'm usually baffled. How is Broly Second Coming more dull than the other ones? You can not like it but it certainly isn't dull lmao
This guy is here on TH-cam sharing stuff he cares about. He can share his opinion all he wants, whether he likes or dislikes something. Telling him to "stick to game reviews" is completely out of touch with the fact that this is a person sharing his thoughts and also with the fact that you don't have to be here watching this.
For my job I’m not really able to look at my phone screen so having a super long video to put in the background that is so well explained I can literally picture what your talking about without looking at my screen is perfect! Fantastic vid keep it up
Just a friendly reminder, you absolutely HAVE to play DBZ Attack of the Saiyan. Love your vids and hope you're eating well
That one's one of my top 3 favorite games
Really loved watching all these videos as they came out! Now I have a video to put on to go to bed lmao. Great work!
Glad to be your background ambience!
I like to think that spider man just beat morlun and went straight to play dbz games
Technically that's accurate.
@ YOOOOO
One of the best content creator I have ever encountered, so much effort and dedication, lucky to be a follower😊
Thank you so much 😀
Quick tip for beam struggles if you’re on controller for BT2:

Another binge listen for me while I'm stuck overseas. Hope the hurricane didn't hit you too hard, glad you're still hard at work.
This is real as hell
Seriously one of the most underrated, the most effort you put into these videos is absolutely crazy. Keep up the consistency and there is absolutely know way you won’t make it. I wish you the absolute best
Thank you! Lots more content to come.
Budokai deserves a reboot/sequel as much as Tenkaichi did with Sparking Zero. hope it gets one as well.
This was a really great andfun binge video, but putting Super DBZ in Don’t Play while also putting DBZ Sagas in Maybe Play is ABSOLUTE INSANITY, deadass probably the first time I ever seen anyone put Sagas above Super DBZ.
To be fair, I did say I wasn't basing it on the quality of the game but instead on the uniqueness of the experience.
this video needs more views. FIVE HOURS??? EIGHT GAMES??? I watched it all and I am thoroughly impressed. nice work man
I'm pretty sure they broke up the Budokai 1 story mode to make it take longer. Which makes no sense since you could easily just let us fight them in the order they took place...AND still be a size-able story mode.
"Welcome, I'll sell - bye bye."
Repeat. Repeat. Never stop repeating.
I could hear this

Wow this is an amazing video! So many memories of the best era of DBZ games. Great watch while waiting on Sparking Zero!
a buu saga glazer? truly a rare and offputting creature
I loved the Hercule Mode and Great Saiyaman. Absolutely loved it.
i love your videos, now i know what to watch before going to sleep for the next couple of days 🔥🔥
Some say it raises your power level to listen as you sleep
@@evprince my sleep power level is really over 9000 with this 💥
Yo! Where is the Sparking! ZERO review!? You got this broski!!
They didn't send me a code! I'm hoping to have it out next Friday
@evprince Booo, Bamco should have sent you one.
Keep up the great videos man you're doing amazing work, hope your channel blows up.

Enjoyable video overall, I'd like too see Ps3 era videos next

Damn I was hoping for a dragon ball ultimate battle 22
I talked about that in my PS1 DBZ Games video!
Back then when budokia first came out. We just appreciate the game for what it was. I didn't even realize till watching this video that great saiyaman was buu saga. I was just happy to have unlocked him even tho I never liked using him

dude that's evan in a nutshell a high quality creator that's somehow under the radar
god I loved legacy of goku as a kid
I played most of them had all bt/b games and infinite world burst limit xv 1 ps3 ya never had super DBZ tho but I played it at a friend's but other than that thank you for re living our childhood great content
Honestly the Budoki 2 story mode feels like it plays like FighterZ story mode gameplay wise
Something tells me this guy might play sparking zero
That tfs refrence 😂😂😂😂😂
For Budokai my guess would be that they had other team do development for other part and they crunched it so hard they had to make it other part lol
Yeah makes sense
budokai 3 goes nuclear
One of the best.

Yesssss hell yeah dude!
Is this just a collection of all your other videos in one collection video
yeah that's usually how he does these collective videos he'll edit them together and make it pretty much the "definitive" video if that makes sense
I thought there was a mini game with tien and cell when tien uses neo tri beam on him ?
love the video! will you be reviewing sparking zero?
Currently playing for a review now! Expect it next week!
Hi super random but what Deftones remix did u use for the video lol its pretty good
That's me yelling over a quickly thrown together version of the track's chorus. It's not a real or complete track. I just did it for the bit lol.
@@evprince thats crazy bro u gotta finish it 😭🔥

yes it is
i got all these, they worth anything?
Now play the psp games too
Can you please make a video of the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Series on the PS2
what about battle stadium d.o.n.
