Truly the end of an era. Lewis x Merc and Lewis x Bono both together. Probably gonna be Ricardo Adami aka Ricky as Lewis’ engineer given he was with Seb then Carlos throughout their time there.
Leclerc is a better driver than Russell, no doubt in my eyes. Russell is also prone to crashing and more so I would say. Hamilton will have his hands full with Leclerc I reckon.
@willf1sv5 Out of Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri and George Russell or Charles Leclerc... I'd put my money on Piastri to be World Champion before the rest of those lot because he doesn't have Ferrari strategies coming from left field, he's not accident prone and because his car is very reliable. The others are bottle jobs under pressure and don't you start saying that Hamilton is a bottle job under pressure
Well I mean Hamilton made a lot of mistakes in 2021. Imola (got saved by red flag), Monaco bad weekend, Baku, Austria damaging car driving over kerbs, the list goes on. I'm hating or saying anything controversial. If it was another driver in that position making those mistakes we'd never hear the end of it of how much they're bottling it. E.g. Vettel 2018 and other drivers in previous seasons. Verstappen was clearly the better driver over the season, Mercedes had a better car as well. Bottas beating Perez with a big gap shows this.
2012 Alonso and 2017 Vettel couldn't get a championship at Ferrari so I can't see a 40 year old Hamilton doing it at all. Hamilton has been on a decline since 2021. He's had a few good races recently and that's it. Russell is an overrated driver imo. He's had 2 good seasons and no more. Vettel dragged that 2017 car to a title fight (the car just wasn't quick enough and not as reliable as Mercedes). Bottas wasn't that far behind Lewis in the first half of the season. 2018 Vettel made too many mistakes and Ferrari screwed with strategy too many times and their development dropped off post-Monza.
@mufcracer8609 Hamilton made a lot mistakes in 2021, he has a habit of cracking under pressure in his career. People just won't call it out. His absolute prime was weaker than Vettel/Alonso imo. He's never dragged a car like 2012 Alonso or 2017 Vettel. Those cars were not title winning cars. Lewis has never won 9 races in a row or anything close to that. Alonso never has had a car ever capable of doing anything like that. I don't think Hamilton is better as a driver at all really, he's not declined quite as much as Vettel but got very close with how bad his season was before 4 races ago or so. Alonso in terms of driving talent is the best driver since Schumacher.
“We are checking?”
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Still think it's a mistake by Ferrari getting rid of Sainz
@@willf1sv5 Sainz did nothing wrong he is good solid man
I will miss the Lewis and Bono partnership
I know we feel strange
