Very nice! GB&U 226712 was still sitting out on the China lake ranges about 20 years ago. Not sure if it was recovered and restored. I know a few have escaped to museums since I was last able to visit them. IIRC it's a Hue combat veteran.

Question. Did you paint tubes separately or after on the system. Pictures suggest after.

I glued the tubes in place before painting.
