    The yellow building at the end is a museum for kids, but it has really cool stuf for everybody. The structure was a castle with moroccan design, it was a military base, a jail and now it's the museum of the kids. On the top of that building the expresident Jose Figueres destroyed a part of the walls with a mace, as a simbolic act when they removed the army and turned the place into a museum for kids because the new army was going to be an army of teachers and students to fight the iliteracy

      Don't walk by the center of San José at night. You can do it on other cities but I would not recommend it there. If you're gonna move by SJ at night use Uber...cheap and safe....thats on San José, where I live I could even sleep outside and nothing would happen

      Government workers and health care professionals are paid very well here. Don't kid yourself! It's no different than anywhere else in the world in that regard.

    • @joules_sw
      @joules_sw 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Absolute poverty is different than relative poverty. These people are not as rich as the average US citizen, but they have to play less to survive, I'm not even starting with the cost of healthcare and education. They're not poor on absolute terms cause they're able to obtain what they need. Also salaries are substantially higher than the rest of latin América. On Costa Rica you can also find people with a lot of money, most of the people are not poor, they're just not rich lol

    Hi I walk that all the time when i go to San Jose I am located near the airport, which by the way.. people from other countries think that the airport is in San Jose CR because their boarding pass erroneously shows that, what they don't know is that the airport is actually in Alajuela, another province next to San Jose.

      @TheDufresnes  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Bingo! You deserve an award! 😂😂😂 Read the whole title, It's sarcasm, notice the question mark and exclamation mark together? Most people would find it chaotic as a lot of people don't like San Jose and think of Costa Rica as chilled beaches. As you notice at the end of the title we put "a must visit!" Go find something to do instead up trolling comment sections.
