I managed to remove the washer motor by jacking up the front of the car, pulling back the front section of inner liner to allow access from underneath the car. The pump is at the front of the reservoir. You can feel for it and just pull it out. Any water will gush out - dont get wet! Then gently move the pump around the reservoir to the back. Open the access hatch for the aircon in the liner and move the pump out of the hatch and disconnect the electric and both pipes. Refitting was just the reverse and was pretty easy to do. You just had to do it by touch to find the hole and insert the pump. No bumper removal necessary.
Hello mate can I not just access it from taking the bottom side plate off rather than hole bumper ? Also I'm getting he noise of the pump but no water and no blockage anywhere
Hey. Thanks for this. Good work. My bumper seems to be a lot harder to shift however. I had the sump/engine cover to remove too as this attaches at the bottom of the bumper.. The sides are fine, but very difficult to pull the top part off. I can get the very top off, but it feels like there are bolts or clips holding it in place in the middle - the angular bits around the lights don't want to move. Very tricky to get it round the front light (and worse trying to get it back afterwards). Cant see ought inside to get at though. Just doesn't want to lift off. Sure there's nothing else in there?

do you have to take 3 bolts out from under the car? if you was to completely remove the bumper ?
not all Renault meganes have slam panel and those other covers,do people simply throw them away?
