Awesome interview. Although there's no need for it to be in stereo. I often listen with one earbud so I was missing half of the back and forth
They replicated the intro to Meant to Live
excellent question the one about the voice register. artists seldom ever talk about it, its almost like a mistery. they dont talk ab out their process, like, i love that little epiglottis drive jon does everytime but you dont see him talking about how to go about it.
Great job, Rob. SWITCHFOOT is the BEST band ever and such a great example of how to maneuver through this life. These songs continue to bring hope and light to a dark world. GOD bless

Thank you for a great interview. I love Switchfoot and have seen them live over 15 times. Today May 5th, I’m enjoying the “Our Version” of Beautiful Letdown!
I wish you would have asked them if this is part of getting the rights to their masters from the record companies similar to Taylor Swift. Also could have asked what did they learn musically over the many albums they made after Beautiful Letdown to bring to redoing this album? Thanks for interviewing them!
Im a lil new here but Ive been here just new here providing my thoughts. Anyways, I've been a big fan of Switchfoot since like middle school. Theres so many songs that I like but if I had to choose probably We are one tonight, Back to the Beginning Again, Live it Well, and Awakening. As for the anniversary, definitely magical that my favorite band is doing the same thing Im wondering if that idea was becuz of my other favorite singer Michelle Branch idk still awesome

fuck, artists cant catch a break. how many times will people look you in the eye and say that the stuff youve been doing for like forever isnt good enough. to say that is no ones place. switchfoot rules and has saved me time and itime again. thank you for not giving up.
