  • I have a :20 Minute Workout DVD set that I bought off of eBay years ago. It has over 70 episodes, and I have decided to upload them to TH-cam to inspire myself to start working out again and share them with those who love the workouts. My mom loved them when she was a young gal. Enjoy!
    Please note that I do not know if the episodes are in order or not, I am basing the order off of what I received in the DVD set.

    Oh my goodness😁 the 20 Minute Workout started my love for fitness I always looked forward to Bess leading the class because she had that extra spunk that got you going. Today Bess is just as spunky and beautiful as she was then. I'm 61 years old now and I still do aerobic workouts but with modifications and weight training exercises. Thanks 20 Minute Workout for getting the ball rolling.

    My goodness. I used to get up super early watching Bess and the other gorgeous ladies do their thing. Man I miss those days, lol...

      Me too, and my body was slamming. I use to tell people I ate whatever I wanted, but didn't tell them I was working out at 5:00 am with Bess.

    I swear todays workouts just create bound fascia everywhere in the body. These movements are so freeing and they seem to shake everything up in order for the body to release fat.

      Beautifully put. This and the early Jane Fonda workouts got me into fitness and on track to being an athletic trainer. I'm 53, mostly retired now, still do these and still love them. They're very effective.

    Bess Motta is an American actress, singer and fitness personality. She is best known for portraying Ginger Ventura in James Cameron's classic The Terminator (1984), and as the lead instructor and choreographer for the television exercise program :20 Minute Workout (1982).
    Bess was born on February 10, 1958 in Burbank, California, the daughter of Eric, a scientist, and Rita, an operetta singer. Bess was raised in Woodland Hills, California, and was a competitive ice skater as a pre-teen. At age 13, she began studying drama with Austrian actor Francis Lederer. She attended William Howard Taft High School and starred in multiple theater productions and was also active in summer productions and drama competitions with other San Fernando Valley actors Mare Winningham, Val Kilmer and Kevin Spacey. At age 18, Bess was cast in the San Francisco production of "The Great American Backstage Musical".

      This show was a godsend for women needing to get into shape. And it started a lot of lifelong fitness enthusiasm, and careers.
