I've been listening to this lately, and I feel just like David. A failure, a fraud, a liar, a traitorous servant and son. May the Lord hear my cry from the bottom of my heart to the sky above. I thought none in the Bible felt like this but now that I've backslidden I never thought that this was what Psalms was all about, I used to think David was just saying this to express how he feels, and I suppose he is but I never knew it was in a circumstance like this.

I need to hear this word this morning, brother Ezekiel. I am going through a terrible tribulation of unemployment. I have lived a life dedicated to Christ - and I cannot determine nor has the Holy Spirit told me why this has occurred in my life. It doesn’t matter! If that truth would make me restructure my life to avoid this and never be as close to God as I can be - I should never ever know of it until I meet him. For the Book of Job tells us: we can be blameless and still suffer afflictions never know to us - yet remain steadfast and loving to God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit. I am, and have been: Fighting, praying , fasting, seeking Christ, reading my word, rebuking the enemy, standing on the psalms, praising though heartache and heartbreak, repenting of sin, giving up any thing that is not of God, being separated from friends - everything is given to the Lord. No matter what, even with everything taken from me, my home, my belongings, my status, my employment, my career future, my joy in hobbies and passions - the only thing that remains is my steadfast love and acceptance of Christ, my obedience, praise and worship to God, and my dedication, deep affection, and sojourning to sanctification with the Holy Spirit. God did not just forgive us from all eternity - he took on all our suffering, weakness, and rejection and then forgave us. He went down into death, to show us that there was nowhere he would not go for us. And then he showed us the way back and promised that he will help us to get there if we try to follow him. It is nothing but the constant expression of unconditional love, the whole way through, and has nothing to do with punishment.
