I used to think that having a relationship with God was for women, children and weak men, but in fact it’s quite the opposite. More men today need to seek Him. He’s not just our God, he is a father, a brother, a friend, a counselor. Just talk to Him about anything.

I've strayed from God. I no longer sit down to pray and talk to Jesus. I no longer read my Bible. I no longer feel peace or joy in my everyday life because I spend a lot of time watching that stuff. I'm going to make an effort though because I deeply desire to want to be with Jesus. This is how I think of it. Jesus chose us, knowing that we would fall to sin. I'm not saying to use it as an excuse to sin. I'm saying to try to not feel guilt for sinning because He knew that we would eventually sin. Regardless of that, He still loves us. Instead of repenting by cursing yourself and feeling shameful and guilt, repent by remembering the goodness of God. Remember how merciful and loving and graceful He is. I only found this recently, every time I hear this I can feel kind David’s remorse , real deep this psalm as I’m 38 now I feel a lot more empathy now . Looking back at the mistakes I’ve made when I was younger I now cry when I hear this . The last part is the final nail that hits me , people never give up keep seeking him and remember his teachings , he loves us soo much words can’t describe it it’s one of those things we can only feel . I've been at 5th week, and I've lost today again, and I'm so angry at myself...
I feel as if I fail him every day I’m addicted to porn at this point I feel horrible promising him I’ll stop time and time again I feel shackled going with his wisdom even when I know he knows what is best and good for me. I sit and ask how we go from an innocent being into something this world corrupts. if he were to look at me I’d hide as to not let him see what I’ve become.
My dear friend the Lord is close to the broken-hearted. Lean on his strength to overcome this addiction, if you trust in your own my beloved you will fail. Matthew 11:28-30 he wants to take your burdens trust in him that he can and will. But most of all my friend do not let satan fill your heart with doubt, fear and guilt. Rebuke him with your voice out loud in the name of our blessed Lord Jesus Christ. Beloved read this and know it is true that who the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36) you are no longer a slave to the evil one but a free son of God almighty.
