Hi SGI members I am from Singapore man division, practice faith since 1984 (33 yrs 0f faith in the GOHONZON).. now I am turning 52 , met sensei 3 times so far. Let’s strengthen our faith day by day month after month follow our mentor for generations after generations.
it is ment to be powerfull, chanting daimoku is not for relaxing but ruther for awaking our internal buddhahood. However I understand what you mean, but try to chant Nam Myoho Renge Kyo with any rythm and speed you feel to, and see it's effect on your life, am sure you will find happiness and power of life. @@dianelennon2931 I do. I chant slower and more relaxed, quite different from this riding-out-an-EF4-in-a-bathtub rhythm.
