Thank you for teaching. It would be helpful though, as Paul did, to acknowledge the difference between praying in the Spirit and with understanding. Yes all prayer of spirit filled believers is of the Spirit, but please consider how Paul highlights a difference. Speaking in tongues is a fantastic and beautiful gift from our Lord. I am very thankful for such a special form of prayer.
"Milder version of the prosperity gospel" LOVE it! LOL, when I was in the IFB they bashed the 'prosperity' preachers, but one breath later tells you to be sure to 'give from the heart' so God can bless you. 'Buy me a blessing' I called it.
God's will? Pretty clear I'd say: "And this is the WILL of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and BELIEVES in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” (John 6:40)
I know of no-one who has utilized Col 1:22-23 for universalism. Clearly verse 23 is directed to Christians and their need to continue in the faith for what is in verse 22 which is the very definition of salvation. 1 Tim 4:16: "Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching. Persist in this, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers." 1 Tim 2:12: "if we endure, we will also reign with him." So the bible says we have to persist and endure for salvation. You say that is not so. I am going to have to go with the bible on this one.

You cannot live for God unless you are living from God. The motivation and inspiration comes from God.

Amen! We are spending time with God without interruption because we are one spirit with the Lord.
