This is so freeing. For years my family& I went to an evangelical bible church with solid teaching but I always felt like I had to work, and strive and keep trying to get more faith, get closer to God serve more... Not blaming the church could just be my interpretation but hearing this is SO helpful and it rings true. Jesus did it all I can't bring anything to the table.

Read Romans 7:14-8:1… The Apostle Paul describes his own struggle with his own sin in ministry and concludes there is NOW NO CONDEMNATION for believers… PERIOD… mic drop…
One more thing… Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking in the Spirit of God ever says “Jesus is accursed!” and no one can say “Jesus is Lord” except in the Holy Spirit. - 1 Corinthians 12:3 The word Lord is the Greek word kurios which, in the Septuagint (the Greek translation of the Hebrew Old Testament), is the translation for the Hebrew, Yahweh… So, if you can confess from your heart and with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Yahweh’ then the Holy Spirit is in you, no matter how or what you may feel at any given moment… It is ALWAYS a matter of knowing not feeling… Take heart ❤😊✝️

Heb 9:16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. Heb 9:17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. I believe we are under the New Testament and under the New Testament ministry mentioned by Paul in 2 Cor:3. The new covenant mentioned in the old testament was to the nation of Israel and Judah, and states that there will be no need for teachers and idols will be purged. Paul states teaching as part of ministry, and John in 1:5 admonishes us to stay away from idols. The Everlasting Covenant between Father and Son is what we are under. It was a covenant between them both, as in Genesis 15. We inherit the promises from this through Christ, which includes the spirit of promise, and the only obligation is to believe in faith in Jesus Christ and his finished work alone. We are sons of God and fellow heirs. Sons through the spirit of adoption where our hearts cry out, Abba, Father.
