Not that related to the robot itself , but i suggest you to look up the "birdbot" robot , since the cad model is free you could try making an small versión and see how it goes
Act first,Don’t overthink it, don’t try to fix everything at once. design the part your certain first,let say you want to built a car transformer robot but all you can think of is how the leg design done and had no idea how to make the body and arm transform into car shape,then, you can start built the leg first, it always easier to design the next robot part when you already have one solid robot part holding in your hand.

I’m using geprc gr2306 2450kv brushless motor on main rotor blade that can generate over 1.5kg+ thrust,and the robot is 800g,in theory, it fly
