I keep thinking there is some kind of split screen with those dang tires being like that good video I learned nothing 🤣🤣
@@L2theWcarscoffeelife I am an idiot entertainment is what you get over here
21:53 checked and double checked
ON the WOV shock: With the bladder installed, the top of the nut may not bottom out on the shock cap before the piston touches the bladder outer edges allowing the shock shaft to move upwards more allowing the piston to flex and crack because there is no stop. This could explain the breaking piston. Just a thought and no way for me to test since I don't have one to check out but something to consider and play with next time you have the WOV shock apart.
No you are very correct in your thinking 👍💯
That’s a good idea with the pin and screw.. except maybe come up with a better way to capture the pin…
15:15 so now the question is…threaded or pressed in rod ends. Simple as in screwing the end and adding a fuel line bump stop or TOTAL disassembly to install stops on the press jobs 🤔🤔🤔 you know what I’m saying 😂
@@kgm5512 you choose the path of VIOLENCE
I think the pin system would still work… drill a 1/8” hole exactly where pin goes and let it pass through to opposite side… use that as the push pin extractor… then small hole with button head screw for a stop… or maybe I’m wrong 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
@@nofreerides7033 👍
Guy your shock debris guard is backwards.😂 the new one you just put in.
@@RodyRcAdventures GOOD CATCH I noticed during the edit😂🤣 I thought about going back and redoing it but I felt as though it would have been fake. I just leave in what I screw up and just fix it after the fact unless it's something I didn't notice but yeah I saw it guy 😂🤣😂🤣 you do have to laugh though, but you're the only one so far that said anything 👉🏆👈
I’m probably to late but just put blue thread locker on the threads screw in and let it dry 😂
@@SixShooterRC yeah I've done that before sometimes sticks just enough👍💯

Those tyre treads being out of line is messing up my eyes
🛞👀
Yeah me too 😵💫
Also don't forget the spring seat thickness
@josephhobbs3009 I didn't I show it later. I could be wrong but seeing the shaft exposed that much and seeing the inside top cap in relation to the nut gives the appearance of collision even though I found no evidence
I've got it figured out. It's a piss poor design that used sub par material. Even tho i haven't broke a threaded shock shaft on my Valkyrie I'm still not happy with the suspension in general. Instead of those huge goofy looking hub contraptions I'd much prefer longer arms and pillow balls or really anything else. The short arms and generally bad shocks are the only things that bother me. They did so good on the Vigilante suspension system. I'm guessing it was cost saving measures but I'd much rather pay more for a better suspended truck. My Vigilante handles, jumps, and lands way better than my Xmaxx. It's like Arrma made a big plastic basher. The 4s Arrma siblings beat the Valkyrie by a lot.
Yeah if you ground a flat spot and use a grub screw that would probably work ???
It would have to be all the way around otherwise I'd have to clock the screw😳
Tougher than a MT 10 ???? Especially for the cabbage. Weeeeeeeeeeee
Hey as far as screws backing out, has anyone else came up with a 3D printed sleeve with a smaller size hole but soft enough to open up a bit and allow the screw to go in tighter than without, you know kinda like a butterfly in dry wall
Xmaxx pin with the plastic cap will hold the pin in and allow you to pull the pin out without having to drill a hole completely threw the upper hole but it might hit the shock with that tight clearance 😮for the traxxas cap 🤔
@@earlmoorhead5555 yes I had looked up drag and drop in pins with caps but I don't believe there's really enough room for the cap and I'm just going to go the grease way first cuz that's easier for someone to possibly catch and try. Who knows? We'll see
@@earlmoorhead5555 Yes, I was on the Traxxas website looking at hinge pins for the Redcat racing vehicle 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 cuz yes, Traxxas did their homework in the beginning 😜😂🤣
@@earlmoorhead5555 Yes, almost 16 years ago. I think that's when they came out with the captured pins right? I don't even know guy 😂🤣
I was thinking u could drill out the arms alittle bigger maby that stop the screws from unscrewing but maby be to much slop then in the arms....
@@rcguygarage lol yep 👍 it’s tryed and true design is timeless lmao 🤣
I think 🤔 your onto something with those shocks hitting the top that tubeing on the shaft looks like that would solve that problem good idea.....
What are you talking about… this was a good video all around bro. In my opinion 🧐
