Gota love them bark less small splits . Kinda looked like you were practicing and getting ready for a vertical splitter . That was neat how the bark was just jumping off .
There we go Jeremiah, use that lever to just pop the wood so it'll split - no need for the ram to go all the way out each time. Great demonstration of how a single wedge is useful on certain types of splitting - when you want to split naked pieces. Love it!! Keep cuttin' Buddy!
Looking great Jeremiah. The splitter does a great job! Campfire sales are a little slower this year in our area, but as soon as all this rain stops, we anticipate sales to pick up. Stay safe.🍻🍻
Very enjoyable video watching your rhythm and reading that hickory to produce that beautiful barkless hickory! Thanks for sharing and enjoy YOUR sunday.🙂🪵
Nice splits. Fir bark comes off at times in sheets like that. Most of the time, i remove it as it's like 2 inches thick. It definitely burns great in the firepit, and nothing left but fine powder of ash. Happy Father's day to you and your family 😉 👍
Dang, they’re shagbark Hickory, slick or butternut…….. and then there’s molting Hickory in the 608!! The kind that comes out of its skin immediately when place on the WR 22RS 😳Will you please give Matt my number 😂 Beautiful splits! Happy Father’s Day Jeremiah ! Enjoyed the video👊🏻🍻
You are finely tuned with your machine. It’s all about the rhythm. That reminds me, I need to split some bark less hickory for the smoker. It’s far more stringy here in southern MO.
I’m the opposite of you, I use the single wedge 98-99% of the time and the 4-way 1-2%. Probably have 20% less scrap/kindling by doing it that way. Plus I like being able to control the size/shape of the pieces
Hello from sunny California You are like an artist with that wedge, however I hope you are not like most artists and do not sell their work. Remember all those cold nights coming up and the poor people waiting for that wood! Have a great day
All that moisture in those trees is why thy go bad fast standing. Most of the time by the time you figure out that they are bad a good part of the tree is rotting garbage. If you find one dead use cause it could fall any moment.

@outdoorsinthe608 : But sharing is caring 😂😂

I have found that shag bark is more stingy than this bitternut. We just drove through Missouri on our way to Arkansas. Thank you👍👊
Very nice splitting.
Thanks Ted!👍👍
Great video. Im also in the 608. southwest part. Love the splitter.
Very cool! Hello neighbor thanks for watching👍👊
Great splitting!!
Thanks Mom!!👍❤️
Great Job Jeremiah! I was impressed by how much bark just came off the Hickory!😊
Pretty crazy how the bark is coming off! Usually don’t happen on green wood. Thanks Brent see ya soon👍👊
Nice job with the single wedge ! Love that barkless firewood.👍TCT
It’s beautiful stuff! Thanks Tony👍👊
The bark coming off like that was convenient.
For sure and I was definitely surprised the bark came off like that! Thanks Bill👍👊
🎉
👍👊
Hey Jeremiah, that be some sweet firewood. We have some bitternut we have been working on. Some of my favorite wood. Take care!
That barkless stuff looks amazing! I'm loving how nice it is splitting also!! Thanks Jeff happy Father's Day if it applies👍👊
@@outdoorsinthe608 Same to you Jeremiah! Jennie and I have two adult kids.
Morning Jeremiah , that is some beautiful splits . I was like how is he getting that bark to come off like that !! 😂 👍🏻🇺🇸
It was crazy it just fell off! Thanks Del👍👊🇺🇸
I like the sorting system. I split a big pile of shagbark this morning and it was a stringy mess!
Shag bark seems to be more stringy than this bitternut.
Some nice looking splits 👍 Happy father's day Jeremiah 👊
Thanks Ken! Happy Father’s Day👍👊
Great job 👏🏻 Jeremiah…!! But it’s only June - and you don’t think 🤔 you’ll get any more cherry 🍒 in the wood yard…??
Only if I get up to the roller coaster brothers woods but I am waiting for them to get the saw logs out of the way first. Thanks Ken👍👊
Beautiful Splits Jeremiah!! I'd like to know how you got the bark to just fall off like that!! Enjoyed it!!
Me too!😂 Don’t happen very often with green wood. Thanks Jacob👍👊
Nice looking stuff! Where can a guy get one of those cup holders? - Tim
On Amazon. They are around $13.00 for two of them. Thanks Tim👍👊
@@outdoorsinthe608 sweet! Thanks
Barkless Hickory smoker wood?
You betcha!👍👊
Bet you would like a vert machine?
I sure would! Thanks Bert👍👊
How much longer does making smoker grade woof take with the 22RS versus the Axis?
Axis is definitely faster!

Definitely less scrap with the single. I love the speed of the 4-way! Thanks Joe👍👍

Hey sunshine Gary! It definitely will be sold once seasoned. Thank you sir👍👊

Very true! Thank you Stan👍👊
Nice Job Jeremiah, sometimes the single wedge is easier 🪵👍🏼🐍
For sure! Thanks Larry and Robin👍👊
