Seen these guys 13 times and counting, hands down the best band I’ve ever met, Winston is the chillest bloke ever despite the fact he could make one hell of an orc with the right lighting 😂
One of the best bands I've ever seen live. Every one of their albums has some great music on it. If you ever get the chance, see them its well worth it
I like the fact that I every video the kids doing this weird but funny shot while his dad has this constant stable head-bang with this most stern face😂
Man, I love Parkway Drive they´re one of my favourite bands! It´s so cool that you checked them out. Try Wild Eyes, Crushed, Carrion or Home is for the Heartless live at the Impericon Festival
These guys put on the best live show in my book saw them for the 5th time a week ago in Dallas,Tx and planning on seeing them in Australia soon as well 🤙🏽
I’m going to see this band for the 2nd time live in May. They are by far the best live metal band out there. In my profile pic that’s Winston their front man. Met him before a Gig in 2016. Coolest most down to earth guy out there. They make music they love and that people love! 🤟🏼
So many bands releasing new albums this year. Kamelot, Godsmack, Shinedown, Tremonti and of course the band I'm looking forward to hear their new album fucking Tool. They said the new album will be release sometime this year. We can only wait.
swifty Atlas is a great album though & Ire had some great songs on it also, of course Horizons is better out of the two no question about it but Atlas & Ire are not bad albums well imo anyway not there best work but not bad as people make them out to be either
Oh and by the way if you are digging the Australian scene when you’ve got time you should give my mates band a listen, check out XXXXbummer by Grave Places
Hi Guys! I'm also discovering a lot of Australian interesting bands, I would never thought that I would find 2 awesome Folk Metal bands from Australia, but I strongly recommend Valhalore - Across the Frozen Ocean and Stormtide - Wrath of an Empire. One think I love about Metal is that METAL is UNIVERSAL and not confined to countries or cultures, it's great to feel that in the whole world we can be surprised with bands that we would never imagine that would be from that country! Cheers
Great! I'll take a look at that video!!!! Yeah, I also have their autographed CD, their album is good from the first song till the last :) they are very cool!
Are you guys Canadian? From the GTA area? Just cuz I almost went to see Judas priest recently lol. I've seen parkway live twice and holy fuck do they kick ass. Favorite band by far
Do you guys take long list suggestions (more than 20 bands with 2-3 songs each)? I have some not widely known bands that you might like (power metal, melo death, metalcore, progressive; women vocalists) but the problem with them would be that not all the bands have videos or the songs are couple or more years old. I could point out witch ones have videos with their year and just give the rest for your peronal listening. Also, please do Xerath - 2053. I have the feeling you would love the band (harsh vocals, with some cleans, lots of atmosphere and guitars, with some orchestrations).
I know you only asked for top 5 but if you take the first two of every list you will have a top 6 :) Nonetheless, I tried to cover all the angles of bands with videos on their right songs and include a bunch in case someone else have pointed one of them in other videos. I have tried to not include bands close to you as you might know them, so mostly the bands are from Europe. Top 6 with harsh vocals (sadly, excluding the last two bands, the others are no longer active): 1 - Xerath - 2053 - Symphonic math metal - 2014 - lyric video 2 - Crimson Shadows - Lost In A Dark Forest - Extreme power metal - 2012 3 - MyGrain - Dreamscape - Gothenburg metal - 2013 4 - Sybreed - The Line of Least Resistance - Industrial metal - 2013 5 - Dagoba - Inner Sun - Groove/Industrial thrash metal - 2017 6 - Caliban - Devil's Night - metalcore - 2014 Top 6 others: 1 - Avantasia - Draconian Love - Symphonic power metal project - 2016 (All hail Tobias Sammet) 2 - Lacuna Coil - Blood, Tears, Dust - Alternative Gothic metal - 2017 3 - Elvenking - Elvenlegions - Folk Power metal - 2014 4 - Gloryhammer - Rise Of The Chaos Wizards - Power metal (with a twist) - 2015 5 - Beyond The Black - Lost In Forever - Symphonic metal - 2016 6 - Wovenwar - All Rise - Alternative metal - 2014 Top 6 that are special to me for their uniqueness: Amaranthe - The Nexus - trio of singers - 2013 Deadlock - Renegade - a not well known but very loved band (sadly the changes in the band have reduced their quality over the years) - 2014 Once Human - Eye Of Chaos - kind of like Infected Rain - 2016 Ancient Bards - Through my Veins - usually they do not have harsh vocals but they suit them - 2012 Celldweller - Lost in Time - unique music - 2015 OTEP - Ghost Flowers - old but gold
Check out the new song by Godsmack from their upcoming album" when legends rise" "Bulletproof" it sounds different from their usual sound. But we know the rest of the album is going to be as heavy as past ones.
No matter the sound I will still buy the album. If they want to try something new let them. If it doesn't work out, they can return to their classic style. Experimenting with new style can either be good or very bad. Let's try and be positive about this album until it comes out.
100% in 2019....we will have the money we need by December of this year. We are $1,600. I have been setting aside $50/$100 a month to add to it...so we will be 100% there in 2019.
My suggestions: Ever dream - Nightwish (Live) A touch of blessing - Evergrey. Also, the nightwish concert is soon, so would be nice of you to throw in some Nightwish soon :) Cheeers :)
Make sure you check out killing with a smile and horizons, their best two albums. They've been a bit bland since with their progression in sound but I'm really liking this song it's certainly very different will be interested to see how diverse the album is.
Dave totally disagree with u, deep blue & atlas were great albums also imo & even ire had some great songs on there but yes of course for me horizons is still there best album but there newer stuff is still good imo anyway
Not sure what you mean you totally disagree and say Horizons is your favourite? I'm a bit older and started seeing them when they first started playing supporting the north coast hardcore bands. I'm sure Deep Blue and Atlas aren't bad, and I didn't say that, I just said they progressed in sound. For someone who loved the faster heavier stuff it was a significant change to a more mainstream sound for me which was a bit bland. I'm hoping to enjoy some songs off the newest album will certainly give it a chance.
Dave Yo dude, what I mean is I disagree with your statement saying there bland with there newer albums if anything I feel like they have evolved as musicians & both singing wise & instramental wise gotten a lot better since the KWAS & Horizon albums, yes I agree there sound has changed a lot but they still have there heavy songs for sure, but when artists change direction I can see why people would be pissed & prefer there old tunes, where as I myself if it's a good song I'll like it regardless even if it sounds totally different I just find doing the same sound album after album just gets a bit same old same old after a while, bu each there own I guess.
Dave and yes they have changed with there sound not being as heavy & fast but I find a lot of KWAS it sounds pretty screamo & Winstons screaming is no where near as clean as it is on there.newer albums it's more of a raw sound imo whereas there newer stuff sounds.more professional but I can't totally comment on KWAS 100% cuz that's the only PWD album I haven't listened all the way through as of yet
All good mate. I'm obviously older than you and have probably been not listening to parkway drive for longer than you have been listening to them lol. I don't think any of their stuff is terrible I just got into them when they started and absolutely preferred the more fast paced and heavier earlier albums. To me a lot of the more recent songs are good songs, just doesn't excite me at all.
Being Canadian and not liking Rush is like being white and being able to dunk. You stand out like a sore thumb and could possibly see my passport being revoked at any time now, just for posting this.
Hard to explain taste and why I dislike them...just don't like their sound...I think that is the best way I can describe it. They come across as so pretentious in their music.
Awesome song and awesome reaction nice on guys, you must write down on paper claim the throne their song mantra, just so I don’t keep saying it 😂 their Aussie also
A&P-REACTS I was thinking about it but the tickets were a bit pricey, the next concert I was going to go was Jinjer, but scheduling conflict won't be able to go. I will be going to Insomnium, and Teaseract (have tickets already). I think I will also go to Dark Tranquillity and Wolfheart. Wolfheart I got from your list, had no idea they were in town 😀. Abraço, espero te ver em um dos shows e tomar um cerveja escutando um metal. Bom fim de semana pra você e o Antônio Keep it metal \m/ - also take a look at heavy MTL for a local festival to go to if Tuska is not an option this year
That is awesome! I noticed the Byzantine shirt from this mornings video too. I came across Byzantine on my TH-cam feed and it was the song Justinian Code. I fell in love. Also, you have a new subscriber!

The air guitarist was very disturbing
Derrick Dixon for real though
He acted like what he was doing was remotely close😂

Seen these guys 13 times and counting, hands down the best band I’ve ever met, Winston is the chillest bloke ever despite the fact he could make one hell of an orc with the right lighting 😂

Great video guys! Have you seen Orbit Culture-Saw? AMAZING!
So many bands releasing new albums this year. Kamelot, Godsmack, Shinedown, Tremonti and of course the band I'm looking forward to hear their new album fucking Tool. They said the new album will be release sometime this year. We can only wait.

Hi Guys! Cheers
We have done Valhalore and that exact song. The guys from the band are super cool, they even sent us an autographed CD.
Great! I'll take a look at that video!!!! Yeah, I also have their autographed CD, their album is good from the first song till the last :) they are very cool!
eheh Valhalore was the very first band to contact you.
Listen to Claim The Throne
Are you guys Canadian? From the GTA area? Just cuz I almost went to see Judas priest recently lol. I've seen parkway live twice and holy fuck do they kick ass. Favorite band by far

You guys should react to Anthem by Iced Earth, the music is really interesting and the song is very powerful
The greatest metal song in history
breakdown of sanity!
Sorry to tell you this but Breakdown of sanity doesn’t exist anymore
The air guitaring and headbanging is cringy as fuck but yall are still awesome 🤘🏼🔥
Do you guys take long list suggestions (more than 20 bands with 2-3 songs each)?

Also, please do Xerath - 2053. I have the feeling you would love the band (harsh vocals, with some cleans, lots of atmosphere and guitars, with some orchestrations).
Lets start with your top 5 must listen ones...so we can pick a couple from it for our To Do List.
I know you only asked for top 5 but if you take the first two of every list you will have a top 6 :)
Nonetheless, I tried to cover all the angles of bands with videos on their right songs and include a bunch in case someone else have pointed one of them in other videos. I have tried to not include bands close to you as you might know them, so mostly the bands are from Europe.
Top 6 with harsh vocals (sadly, excluding the last two bands, the others are no longer active):
1 - Xerath - 2053 - Symphonic math metal - 2014 - lyric video
2 - Crimson Shadows - Lost In A Dark Forest - Extreme power metal - 2012
3 - MyGrain - Dreamscape - Gothenburg metal - 2013
4 - Sybreed - The Line of Least Resistance - Industrial metal - 2013
5 - Dagoba - Inner Sun - Groove/Industrial thrash metal - 2017
6 - Caliban - Devil's Night - metalcore - 2014
Top 6 others:
1 - Avantasia - Draconian Love - Symphonic power metal project - 2016 (All hail Tobias Sammet)
2 - Lacuna Coil - Blood, Tears, Dust - Alternative Gothic metal - 2017
3 - Elvenking - Elvenlegions - Folk Power metal - 2014
4 - Gloryhammer - Rise Of The Chaos Wizards - Power metal (with a twist) - 2015
5 - Beyond The Black - Lost In Forever - Symphonic metal - 2016
6 - Wovenwar - All Rise - Alternative metal - 2014
Top 6 that are special to me for their uniqueness:
Amaranthe - The Nexus - trio of singers - 2013
Deadlock - Renegade - a not well known but very loved band (sadly the changes in the band have reduced their quality over the years) - 2014
Once Human - Eye Of Chaos - kind of like Infected Rain - 2016
Ancient Bards - Through my Veins - usually they do not have harsh vocals but they suit them - 2012
Celldweller - Lost in Time - unique music - 2015
OTEP - Ghost Flowers - old but gold
Check out the new song by Godsmack from their upcoming album" when legends rise" "Bulletproof" it sounds different from their usual sound. But we know the rest of the album is going to be as heavy as past ones.
Graven Wolf I don't think so. Sully Erna said that this album will be more commercial
No matter the sound I will still buy the album. If they want to try something new let them. If it doesn't work out, they can return to their classic style. Experimenting with new style can either be good or very bad. Let's try and be positive about this album until it comes out.

Nice video! You are correct, they will be at Tuska Open Air this year. Does it seem like you are making it there this year or will you come in 2019?
100% in 2019....we will have the money we need by December of this year. We are $1,600. I have been setting aside $50/$100 a month to add to it...so we will be 100% there in 2019.

Whoa - with a passion?? lol I appreciate their music, but they both have sounds that I could never get into.
Being Canadian and not liking Rush is like being white and being able to dunk. You stand out like a sore thumb and could possibly see my passport being revoked at any time now, just for posting this.
Why do you dislike tool?
Hard to explain taste and why I dislike them...just don't like their sound...I think that is the best way I can describe it.
They come across as so pretentious in their music.
