This is, The Most Offensive Advertisements Ever Made

Of course they weren't, they never are 😂
Always the case
I am Mexican I thought that ad was funny. I was frustrated that people can’t take a joke.

The most *OFFENSIVE* thing about Subway is going from "$5 footlong" to "$6, 6 inches"
It's just highway robbery at this point lmao
The subs from subway shrunk just like their profits
Seriously!
If the $9.11 for 2 footlong sandwiches was legit, I'd be excited and not give a shit about it being offensive.

It's honestly not as bad as it seems.
You've gotta consider that there's a lot of people out there that just point out just how tacky certain things are, even if they aren't actually offended.
Also gotta consider there's a shitload of people out there who pretend to be offended simply because they know that the mockery will result in traffic, etc.
Make no mistake, there's definitely a lot of people out there that seem hell bent on being a white knight to someone that doesn't exist, but they're seriously not as common as they seem.
Probably about as common as a 4chan user that actually gets laid as often as they claim they do.
I think offensive advertising is better than normal one, normal annoys me, offensive makes me chuckle
I grew up in the 70's and 80's and most people that offend easily, would have had a coronary if they watched T.V. shows like 'All in the Family', 'The Jeffersons' or 'Good Times'. I believe the reason that there is so much rage, drug use, murder , looting, vandalism and suicide, is because people have forgotten how to laugh at life and themselves and realize that not everything needs to be taken seriously. Many comedians have noted that TRUE comedy, is going to have an offensive element to some extent but you learn to laugh at it. People who are easily offended, or hyper-sensitive , are basically spoiled brats.😡
I don't know man. If I'm ever hungry and i see "best Mexican food on this side of the wall" I'm definitely bookmarking that place for the next family outing. We need more advertisements like that.
Miracle Mattress did a "9/11 Twin Mattress" sale with a commercial saying "What better way to remember 9/11 than a twin tower sale?" then having two piles of twin mattress "Fall over" this would lead to the store closing forever.
You can literally look up the store on Google and see that it's still open. I should know because I live in SATX where the store is from and drive by that area often.

The 50s/60s were different.
If I am not mistaken you are referencing a specific ad. So the word always seems missplaced.

True. Nowadays she need to do real work or the family will go broke.
In the UK the clothing brand H&M advertised a black kid wearing a hoodie saying “Coolest Monkey in the Jungle”
It didn’t go down well
The person who approved of it probably thought, “I call my kids monkeys all the time. This is cute.” And didn’t put the wording with the image together. I can see how that can go down with the public.
Bruh, the clowns in South Africa caused riots about the same thing here. And it was a black boy wearing the clothes...

Another crazy advertisement I've seen is that 9/11 mattress commercial. Only legends remember that one.
Nando's use to do viral ads like this almost before 'viral' was really a thing.
The idea was to make purposefully offensive ads, get it banned, give a generic apology the following day and let the buzz around it do the work for you. Just know this was before streaming and mainstream TH-cam, so if you missed the ad on TV, you had to scramble to ancient TH-cam the next day hoping to find a badly compressed version and suddenly you get more views than the TV ad ever did.
Incredible editing 🥺

"Best mexican food this side of the wall" is unironically funny and a good campaign. I'm guessing that people have a problem with it mainly because they can't decide if it's for or against the wall.

the way edgy or daring or offensive ads or dark humor jokes work is that you never backtrack. You never apologize. You stay based, double down, triple down, or quadruple down.
Quadrupling down only makes it worse. You should be glad that DiGiorno issued real individual apologies for misunderstanding #WhyIStayed. June 2, 2024, 3:57am

Brits butcher all kinds of pronunciations, particularly names that originate from other languages and insist it's fine. They just don't care if they look like dents ig
That Kool-Aid one is awesome though 😂
I totally understand ads being pulled if their imagery or slogans refer or suggest a tragedy (like 9/11), but if it's vague like those alcohol ads that was blown out of proportion, it's the people that need to pull themselves from their entitlement and their social media accounts.
best SunnyV2 upload for a while. props

i love your videos good job man
"You look like I need a drink." That's pretty good.
These weren’t even that offensive, people are insanely soft. I would have never apologized if I was in charge of any of these companies.
The purpose of ads aren’t to get rid of people buying your product. It’s to get them in.
The difference between you and them is they are probably running their business for a living. So they can put their big ass pride aside and do what’s best for their company.
"Heh.. this'll show them 😈" ahh comment
none are customers should have used middle finger emoji on their messages
@@basillah7650 hon customers are allowed to comment however they want. If it’s from a phone it may have an emoji…that’s not how it works.
And loyal customers are one thing, but you can’t make MORE money by having the same customers. The point of advertising is to get NEW customers and get old ones to come back. If you deter new and old customers your business loses money.
Pride is what causes a lot of businesses to fail. There are a million other alcohol stores and Mexican restaurants that don’t make those types of jokes on billboards and will gladly take your paying customers from you. So you have to put your own shit aside if you want to survive and make profit.
@@cim4406 but one of the polls said 77% of people did not find the ad offensive.
